Code-blocks is a free and open-source IDE that can also be built with source code by ourselves. It has support for various compilers like msvc c++, gnu GCC, fortran, embedded compilers, and many with good debugger. It supports all operating systems. It has wxwidgets GUI inbuilt support and doc creators like docoxygen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some versions of code-blocks have bugs and crashes when trying to add plugins. The User Interface is clumsy and does not have a great look. Auto-completion and IntelliSense don't work well sometimes. It sometimes crashes while compiling large source codes. We are not able to choose the latest version of the MSVC c++ compiler Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
