I have been using it for more than one year, and it still comes out to be pretty helpful. It is a little slow as it takes more than 2-3sec to convert a given code snippet and during which if you by mistake click somewhere else, then it fails. Syntax highlighting needs to be improved as still most of the code remains the same color even if they represent different things like identifiers, keywords, functions, and modules. I really like that there are different color themes and the fact that Code Blocks supports so many different languages. Code Blocks is also super easy to install as it is just an add on and installation takes a few seconds and using it in a google doc is even faster. This application only has a small defect when used with Google Docs is that it recognizes the text as if it were some error, is a little annoying but what the application provides makes it not noticeable and does not provide any difficulty. It works excellent, in my time of use only and I could see an error, always have to deactivate the spell checker because Google docs captures that it is badly written, has many useful tools and comforts, which work excellent, you can change the color of your code in easy steps, recognizes a wide variety of languages. It is a super simple tool to use and intuitive, the truth is that it allows me to write code of different languages in a very comfortable way and with only having a Gmail account in my name, it is totally free so that it can be used by anyone who thus I want it, it also has great integration with the other applications belonging to the G Suites group which makes it effective.
