Cloudhouse Technologies Reviews & Provider Details

1. What is Cloudhouse Technologies? Every enterprise IT estate is changing, all the time. Servers are patched, applications are upgraded, workloads move to the cloud and operating systems reach end of support. Most of that change is invisible until something breaks or an auditor asks for evidence. Cloudhouse makes enterprise change visible, safe and reversible. Founded in London in 2010, Cloudhouse has helped more than 500 enterprises across four continents modernise and control their Windows estates, including NYSE, NASA, Ascensus, National Grid and Royal Mail. Cloudhouse built the original technology behind the AWS End-of-Support Migration Program (EMP) for Windows Server, and was ranked 13th in the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50. The Cloudhouse platform covers three products. Guardian provides configuration drift detection, change validation and continuous compliance for hybrid IT estates. It baselines every server, detects unauthorised or unexpected configuration changes, checks planned changes against what was approved, and produces audit-ready evidence for frameworks including FCA, SOX, DORA, PCI-DSS and ISO 27001. Guardian is vendor-agnostic and available on the ServiceNow Store. Foundry handles application packaging and modernisation at scale. Foundry Studio converts virtual machines into containers, giving infrastructure teams a practical VMware exit path without rewriting applications. Foundry Flow automates application packaging and delivers apps to AWS WorkSpaces and virtual desktop environments. Alchemy solves legacy Windows application compatibility. It packages older applications so they run on current versions of Windows and Windows Server, on-premises or in the cloud, with no code changes and no rewrites. Package once, run anywhere. Alchemy is backed by a 100% migration success guarantee for 32-bit and 64-bit applications. Cloudhouse customers include IT operations, infrastructure, change management, security and compliance teams in financial services, government, utilities, logistics and manufacturing. Typical use cases include Windows Server end-of-support migration, data centre exit, cloud migration to AWS and Azure, VMware migration, virtual desktop rollouts, configuration management, IT change control and regulatory audit preparation. Whether the goal is proving compliance to a regulator, moving off an ageing platform before a deadline, or keeping a critical legacy application running, Cloudhouse gives enterprise IT teams control over change without the cost and risk of rewriting what already works. 2. What is Guardian? Drift is silent. A firewall rule changes, a service account gains permissions, a patch lands on one server but not its twin. None of it shows up until an outage, a breach or an audit finding. Gartner estimates that 80% of unplanned outages are caused by poorly planned changes. Guardian is configuration drift detection, change validation and continuous compliance software for hybrid enterprise IT estates. It gives IT operations, change management, security and compliance teams a single source of truth for how every server is configured, and proof that it stays that way. Guardian captures a baseline of each server’s configuration, including installed software, services, registry settings, files, users and security policies. It then monitors the estate continuously and flags every change against that baseline, so teams can see exactly what changed, where and when. That view is independent of what suppliers report and independent of what tickets say. Key capabilities: Configuration drift detection across Windows and Linux servers, on-premises and in the cloud Change validation that compares what was approved with what actually happened Continuous compliance monitoring against CIS benchmarks and internal policy Audit-ready evidence for FCA, SOX, DORA, PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 Server-to-server and environment comparison to find differences between production, test and DR ServiceNow integration, with Guardian available on the ServiceNow Store Guardian is vendor-agnostic, so it works across multi-supplier and outsourced estates where third parties carry out the changes. That makes it a strong fit for regulated industries such as banking, insurance, capital markets and the public sector, where teams must prove control over change rather than simply describe it. Common use cases include IT change control and assurance, configuration management, regulatory audit preparation, operational resilience under DORA, incident root cause analysis, and environment consistency for releases and disaster recovery. Guardian Essentials gives teams a fast way to start: know what is in the estate, prove what changed, and stay compliant. Know. Prove. Comply. Built by Cloudhouse, the London-based enterprise software company that has helped more than 500 enterprises control and modernise their estates since 2010. 3. What is Foundry? VMware licensing changes have forced enterprises to rethink their virtualisation strategy, fast. At the same time, desktop estates are moving to virtual and cloud delivery. Rewriting every application to fit a new platform is slow and expensive. Repackaging them by hand does not scale. Foundry is application packaging and modernisation software that moves enterprise workloads to modern platforms without rewriting them. It gives infrastructure, end-user computing and cloud teams a repeatable, automated path from virtual machines to containers and from physical desktops to virtual ones. Foundry has two components. Foundry Studio converts applications running on virtual machines into containers. It analyses the workload, extracts the application and its dependencies, and produces a container image that runs on modern container platforms. For organisations planning a VMware exit, Foundry Studio is a practical alternative to lift-and-shift VM migration or full re-architecture. Applications run in a smaller footprint with less licensing exposure, and the source code stays untouched. Foundry Flow automates application packaging at scale and delivers packaged applications to AWS WorkSpaces and virtual desktop environments. Instead of packaging applications one by one, teams can run large application portfolios through a consistent, automated pipeline and deploy them to end users faster. Key capabilities: VM-to-container conversion without refactoring or recoding Automated, high-volume application packaging Application delivery to AWS WorkSpaces and virtual desktops Dependency discovery and analysis for existing workloads A repeatable process that reduces manual packaging effort Common use cases include VMware migration and VMware exit planning, application containerisation, data centre consolidation, cloud migration to AWS, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) rollouts, and application portfolio modernisation. Foundry builds on Cloudhouse’s long track record in application compatibility and packaging. Cloudhouse built the original technology behind the AWS End-of-Support Migration Program (EMP) for Windows Server and has helped more than 500 enterprises across four continents modernise their estates since 2010. Package once. Deploy anywhere. Nothing rewritten. 4. What is Alchemy? The applications your business runs on are often older than the people running them. When Windows or Windows Server reaches end of support, those applications become a security, compliance and operational risk. Refactoring is expensive. Rewriting is riskier still. And for most regulated organisations, staying on an unsupported operating system is not an option. Alchemy is legacy Windows application compatibility software. It packages older applications so they run on current versions of Windows and Windows Server, on-premises or in the cloud. It needs no code changes, no rewrites and no access to source code. Alchemy decouples an application from the operating system it was built for. It captures the application along with the dependencies, runtimes and settings it needs, and redirects calls to the operating system so the application behaves as it did on its original platform. The result is a self-contained package that IT teams deploy and manage with the tools they already use. Key capabilities: Run legacy Windows applications on modern Windows and Windows Server versions Agentless application compatibility packaging No source code, refactoring or vendor involvement needed Package once and run on-premises, in AWS or in Azure 100% migration success guarantee for 32-bit and 64-bit applications Alchemy is the technology behind the AWS End-of-Support Migration Program (EMP) for Windows Server. Organisations including NYSE, NASA, Ascensus, National Grid and Royal Mail rely on it. Common use cases include: Windows Server end-of-support migration, including Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012 Windows 10 and Windows 11 upgrades Data centre exit and cloud migration Keeping line-of-business applications running when the original vendor no longer exists Reducing security exposure from unsupported operating systems For enterprises in financial services, government, utilities and manufacturing, Alchemy means the operating system no longer blocks modernisation. Infrastructure upgrades can go ahead on schedule without waiting for application rewrites.
