It helps in migrating the relational databases and helps us to connect with the underlying databases like MYSQL, POSTGRES and other rdbms. It is a AWS service but what if a user needs to migrate to use some other service or some other cloud data warehouses like big query , snowflake etc. The migration could be tedious. I have used RDS for a project where the need of an hour was to use a relational database which could 1. Follow the ACID and also the security of database was a concern. Hence to maintain a cloud instance was easier for all the developers to follow altogether and work on it to store the data which we were moving from data warehouses like bigquery and snowflake and cleaning the data, analysing it and the finally storing it using python library `psycopg2`. I really appreciate how easy it makes me to administer my Amazon RDS instances using Cloudbasic RDS. Without having to delve further into intricate AWS management, I can easily monitor and maintain my databases thanks to the user-friendly interface and simple tools. Although the tool attempts to make RDS maintenance simpler, I've occasionally felt overpowered by the sheer quantity of choices and settings. It could use a more streamlined and user-friendly interface that leads users through routine tasks without requiring them to sift through a bewildering array of menus and settings. The optimization features are praised as a strong quality, but I've seen occasions where the automated optimization suggestions didn't match the particular requirements of my databases. I really like the managed service part of the product. My regular needs like backing up, creating read replicas are handled really efficiently by it. If there is one thing that I dislike about CLOUDBASIC RDS if there is any is the cost associated with it. The clerical side of things of developing in RDS is what the product is helping us at the moment. We can only worry about things that we need and not worry about mainiting our database.
