What won me over is where the changes actually go. Plenty of tools bolt a fix on with a JavaScript layer, and the moment the subscription ends, or an AI crawler that doesn’t run JavaScript comes by, it’s basically not there. CLEO writes into the CMS itself. It’s in the HTML and the schema, it stays put, and a crawler reads it like any other part of the page. For technical SEO that difference is everything. There’s a lot in here, and CLEO keeps adding to it. That’s a good sign, but it does mean there’s usually something new to get your head around. In my first couple of weeks, I was still figuring out where everything was. Once I got used to it, it became really easy. So I'd just say, give yourself a little time at the beginning to settle in. Straight to the point, it delivers. We had a client who just didn't show up when you asked ChatGPT or Perplexity anything in their space. We worked through the GEO fixes and around eight weeks in they started getting cited. The main thing I'd want is more history to look back on, and that just comes with time. On the newer accounts the trend graphs are still building up their first few months of data. Having every social platform in one place would’ve been enough on its own, but that’s honestly the smaller half of it. It isn’t only posting. I can see the following, the engagement, and which posts are actually growing, all in one view. And the comments and posts it suggests come back in the brand voice, so I’m starting from something I can use instead of a blank box. That part saves me time literally every day. The bit that got me was the referral numbers, which I wasn't expecting at all. Seeing real people land on a client's site from AI tools, and not just a score ticking up, is what made it click. For one client that traffic fed into two deals closed in a single month. Once you can show a client revenue and not only rankings, the whole conversation changes.
