It looks like everything is easy and perfect. **What do you dislike about ClassWallet?** As a Tutor I'm very disappointed with the timeline for payments. It's a month since I present my receipt for 3 hrs of service, and I'm still waiting for my payment. I got an e-mail with an stimate time-line of 2-6 weeks but not an specific date of payment. Still waiting... **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** Payment. It would be very nice if they give an exact day you will be pay, or a shorter time-line. ### 2. This enables us to see what items are being purchased and ensure teachers follow the guidelines set by FDOE Regulations for the Teacher Supply Fund. The fact that we don't have to keep receipts. ClassWallet tracks all the receipts for us. Plus, we are able to go back and look at prior year purchases if need be. The support I receive from Joshua and Julius. They have been amazing to work with this year. I have worked with Julius for the last two years and he has went above and beyond helping me to stay straight. This year we added Joshua and he has been equally supportive through this whole process. Whatever assistance I need, there are right there helping me get it resolved. I look forward to working with them next year. **What do you dislike about ClassWallet?** There is no way to stop the process of linking an account in ClassWallet right before the deadline. Example: It takes 3 - 5 days to link an account. If the deadline to submit for reimbursement is Jan 31. The teachers can start the process of linking their account on Jan 31, but it will not be linked until after the deadline. This means they think since they started the process. They will be able to submit for a reimbursement prior to the deadline. Which is not true, because the ability to submit the rebursements will deactivate on Jan 31st. There should be a way to prevent them from starting this process at least five days before all account is deactivated on Jan 31. **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** Issues with items being cancelled. The admin or teacher should receive an email notifying them if they have items cancelled and/or on backorder. Currently, we have teachers with items that have been canceled and were not notified. This has put us behind in closing out our account. ### 3. We also like the different purses that hold various grants. Being able to use the district's tax-exempt staus for purchases is a plus with the teachres as well. **What do you dislike about ClassWallet?** We wish there were more vendor options. Many of our teachers would like to use Walmart or Target without having to get reimbursed. We did have problems with the timeliness of funds distribution, but that seems to have improved greatly this year. **Recommendations to others considering ClassWallet:** I highly recommend ClassWallet. It is user-friendly and takes tedious tasks off the plates of administrators. **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have saved a lot of time using ClassWallet. We no longer have to hunt down receipts and track balances. There is also less stress on the District in the event of an audit. We know the backup is on file. ### 4. I would get to a certain step and hit an error/bug. this happened every step of the way. I contacted support through chat and over the phone for weeks, and was told that my issues would be escalated to IT and to wait.. I finally was seen as a vendor for my family.. finally received payment, and now I have to wait 3-5 business days for it to transfer (and the fee is taken out for their service). ps my receipt was too small (regular PDF) so I had to go back and edit my receipt so that it could be approved. Oh my goodness.. and we are stuck with classwallet bc ESA is making everyone use this platform. Oh, one more thing.. there are various logins for vendor, user.. I literally have to go into an email that was sent to follow the correct vendor link otherwise I can't login. **Recommendations to others considering ClassWallet:** Don't be surprised by al the headaches of setting up an account **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** Haven't seen the benefits yet from a vendor standpoint ### 5. Class Wallet has delivered as promised. It's a good product but implementation of any large system has its challenges. Overall Class Wallet was very good to work with. **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** Recordkeeping is simplified, internal controls are improved and management of small budgets is simplified. ### 6. The prices available are much higher than other stores like Wal-Mart and Amazon **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** Teachers are not waiting months to get their money back after using personal money. ### 7. Prices are higher than what I can get through the same vendors. I have orders not shipped and lost. **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lost orders for teachers. Orders take a very long time to arrive. Prices are higher for teachers when purchasing through ClassWallet. Saves our school secretaries time. ### 8. A one stop wallet designed specifically for Teachers, allowing for mainstreaming orders, and tracking budget. **What do you dislike about ClassWallet?** It’s very buggy. It’s sometimes difficult to transfer funds into the class wallet from the various funding outlets. These payment and transfer delays cause the loss of vendors, which can be incredibly frustrating. I also don’t like that it’s not ADA compliment, and customer service is less than desired. **Recommendations to others considering ClassWallet:** For now, I would look elsewhere—as the software updates, and bugs are fixed however, I would keep an eye on this, as if functioning as designed, it would be an absolute game changer. **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** In theory, it makes supplying classrooms easier and more efficient for teachers. It allows us to receive funds from outside sources directly into the wallet, and order from there. It also allows tracking of how that money is spent, which makes transparency easily obtained. ### 9. Very simple to use as well. It’s definitely like a virtual wallet.As an office administrator, it’s a great time-saver. I like that it is a safe and secure platform, with no risks for fraud. **What do you dislike about ClassWallet?** The only downside was learning how to navigate. When I started using ClassWallet, i had to do my research on the platform. Once I reached out to customer service, I was good to go. After that, navigating the platform was very simple. **Recommendations to others considering ClassWallet:** Highly recommended if you want to save time. It really is an easy process for teachers and staff when it comes to school expenses. It's nice how organized it is so you can have all your accounts, receipts, paperwork in one place. It really was nice having this software available for us, and made our work life much more simple than it was before. **What do you dislike about ClassWallet?** I don't really have anything I dislike, but maybe if there was an app version that would also be helpful. **Recommendations to others considering ClassWallet:** Definitely give it a shot because it will make things so much easier for you, especially if you are a busy person who has trouble organizing all your work information and personal information. **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me solve problems such as budgeting and expenses. It is almost as if you must email ten times and then email the person in charge of them. **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am a teacher so the county uses this app to keep our teacher supplies funds in one place to ensure we are only ordering items that we are allowed. It also removes the responsibility of having to keep paper receipts. ### 13. You essentially add your cart from various sites to Classwallet and if it gets purchased, that's the approval. **What do you dislike about ClassWallet?** I dislike the number of supported stores and the restrictions for stores like Amazon.com. You cannot purchase digital items from Amazon using Classwallet. **Recommendations to others considering ClassWallet:** Definitely make sure you have a large group of users that can test its features from many different points of view for different department needs. **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have had a reduced number of POs being submitted using this system. ### 14. The best part is that you can order directly from the ClassWallet partners such as Amazon, Office Depot, and other teacher supply stores. The supplies are then sent to your school. The Amazon orders are also eligible for prime shipping! If you don't want to order directly from the ClassWallet account, you can link your checking account information and get reimbursed. **What do you dislike about ClassWallet?** I don't like that there are a limited number of partners through which you can order materials directly. I wish that there were more vendors partnered with the company. However, Amazon does have nearly everything you could want. **Recommendations to others considering ClassWallet:** I would recommend ordering from the websites partnered with ClassWallet rather than getting reimbursed. **What problems is ClassWallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to using ClassWallet, instructional funds were deposited directly into teachers' checking accounts. Teachers then had to submit receipts and information about their purchases. If the money was not spent, it would be charged back out. Prior to that system, the district provided teachers with preloaded cards that they could use to purchase materials. Many people lost their receipts, causing tension in the classroom. Additionally, this is allowing me to us Prime on Amazon without having a membership, and I can get classroom materials to the students who need them. ### 15. It can be tricky to understand at first since purchasing from different retailers may have different processes. Such as being redirected to ClassWallet to check out.
