## Classtime Reviews
  ### 1. Useful Tool to keep track of Student's Progress

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary A. | Lecturer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

What I like most about Classtime is that I can see in real-time how each student is learning. I can see if I need to explain a specific concept or If everyone is on the same page.

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

It would be great to have polling tools and word clouds. I have to keep switching apps in class to do different activities, which can be confusing for students.

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can evaluate my students in real time, and they can have instant feedback on what they are learning. Classtime helps me make the class more rewarding and helps students learn better.

  ### 2. Fun and engaging tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

The students love it. They are really excited when we do "group challenges". They are always sad when they don't succeed the group challenges and this motivates them to do it again. Usually, once we have discussed the questions, they ask "Miss, can we do it again?".
I also like that I can give feedback rather quickly. We usually discuss the more challenging questions right after finishing the game.

I highly recommend this to anyone interested in gamifying their classroom.

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

Exporting the results to a spreadsheet. HOWEVER, I know that Classtime is working on this and I'm excited for this.
I just wish there were more questions sets to choose from.

**Recommendations to others considering Classtime:**

Make sure you have an activity ready for students who are done with the challenge and then insist that they do work on that task. My students are usually so "into the game" that once done, they just keep looking at the board to see what's happening in the game.

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Classtime helps me to keep the students engaged and to have them work on their own at their own pace. The benefit of this is that they are focussed, they engage with the material and also, it gives them a sense of belonging - as everyone contributes to the class success when we do group challenges.

  ### 3. I love the collaboration and sense of community Classtime.com instills among my students.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

I love how students are able to work individually toward an assessment and simultaneously toward a classroom goal. I especially love the "challenge" feature and how it integrates the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

To make it even more powerful for targeting student needs, it would be great if their library catalogue of questions could be separated by grade level and depth of knowledge level.

**Recommendations to others considering Classtime:**

My advice is to dive in, use it, and see how the students respond to the challenges. Their motivation to continuously try to reach 100 % will be the only motivation needed to continue to explore and utilize this great tech tool.

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize Classtime for our math exit tickets. Student motivation is off the charts and they gladly work and rework problems to watch their class goal reach the target.

  ### 4. Why I Love Classtime

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

What I find most helpful about Classtime is that it provides all types of help for the teacher, while still letting the teacher be the teacher. What I mean by this is that, at its core, Classtime is a user-friendly platform for teachers to create their own content. I have used other platforms, and I've found them to simply be libraries. Nothing wrong with that. But the art of teaching is then subordinated to the action of browsing the library. In my opinion, part of the job of a teacher is to create content that is uniquely one's own and that uniquely suits the needs of one's students. Classtime has every option imaginable to help teachers do this. And in the event that a library is needed, Classtime has a library of subject-specific content created by other teachers. That is so incredibly helpful. I cannot imagine teaching without Classtime!

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

I honestly cannot think of anything I dislike about Classtime. I have a few types of questions that I'm considering suggesting that they add to their platform, but nothing that would come close to a dislike of any kind. And to turn this around into another thing I like, I will mention that the folks at Classtime are very receptive to suggestions.

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating grade-level specific content for my students in Mathematics and English.

  ### 5. Use Classtime to validate the sucessful transfer of your knowledge

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

easy to use
easy to evaluate
easy to use again

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

nothing, if I have issues I can always discuss with the team of Classtime and the chance is high that the tool will be modified or changed

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. I use it in school as a teacher. It saves about 70% of my time correcting exams. Although I give my pupils the possibility to write texts.
2. I am a quality manager in pharmaceutical industry. There you have to proove that the assessments were successful. With classtime I achieve these requirements easily. The tool makes documentation of the assessments extremely easy.

  ### 6. Best group quiz ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oksana P. | teacher, вчитель, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

While the basic functionality of Classtime is quite similar to many others (questions of different types, real-time responses and scoring, analytics) , it has a unique feature that immediately spices up your lessons. It's group quizzes, or collaborative challenges. Students answer questions to get a picture revealed or story build, and recently the endangered species rescue mission was added.

It's possible to work with devices individually or in pairs - in any way it's the service setup that promotes collaboration and group work. It's so much more responsibility and engagement in the classroom, and the team work is thriving.

Another thing I love about this service - it's that they are constantly updating and creating better user experience. The latest addition of a team challenge offers perfect opportunity to promote environment awareness.

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

I really miss the import features. I have quite a lot of quizzes in Moodle, and manual transfer of each question to Classtime is very time-consuming, and not always possible due to different implementation of question types.

**Recommendations to others considering Classtime:**

Just give it a try, there's a large library of ready-made quizzes you can use. And don't forget to try a collaborative challenge mode - you'll never forget this classroom experience!

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Group quiz time is pure fun now! Students always ask "Can we do it every lesson?", so it's really engaging.
But what I love even more, it's the data I am getting about their performance - I can adapt my teaching to the exact level of the group, or even individual student. I also get a report I can use for grading, if I choose it to be a summative assessment (though I prefer to use it for formative assessment mostly).

  ### 7. The Best Assessment App Hands Down

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathaniel R. | Special Education Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

I love so many things about Classtime--I've used it in the classroom for multiple years now and love how I can quickly utilize question sets to rapidly gather data. I can usually complete a set with students in just a few minutes, which makes differentiation a snap. Classtime's Collaborative Challenges (available for individual purchase or by purchasing a premium account) are well worth the money, and take the idea of classroom competition and flip it on it's head. Instead of a zero-sum game, Collaborative challenges force students to work together to hit targets to achieve certain animations (building bridges, powering up robots, etc). It's a refreshing twist. Classtime's employees are also super responsive to teachers and often will consult with users to get quality feedback for future developments.

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

No dislikes from me personally. I love this app and would recommend it in a heartbeat.

**Recommendations to others considering Classtime:**

I highly recommend that you check out the blog that Classtime has hosted on their website. It has lots of helpful tips and tricks for teachers wondering how to get started.

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowed me to collect data super quickly from students. I've also used it to promote student metacognitive practices, host escape rooms, practice SAT and academic vocabulary, and more.

  ### 8. Not just another Quiz-Game...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter M. | Sekundarlehrer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

The tool offers me as a teacher a variety of opportunities in the classroom. I like the intuitive operation and the clear design. At our school we have seen that the tool can be used very quickly. Unlike other "quiz" tools, it's allowed to claim that this is a tool for teaching, not just a game to activate the class ...

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

At the moment there is no PDF upload for additional material available. Probably there will be one soon.

**Recommendations to others considering Classtime:**

Take a minute and test for free. You will see, that you'll be able to make your first lesson very soon!
Take enough time to make good questions, your pupil will love it!

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Study progress analysis
- Activation of the class
- Exams

  ### 9. Fantastic Way To Prep For State Testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott H. | Senior Educational Consultant | World of Work & Digital Badging, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

My two favorite features are all the tech types they offer and the mechanisms they have for engaging students. They have puzzles that one can use to predict with evidence, a game where students can "save" endangered species, and various animations.

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

The overall skin of the home page is a little bland, but in terms of content and ease of use it is fantastic.

**Recommendations to others considering Classtime:**

One of the best testing platforms on the market. I use Illuminate, Edcite, and Edulastic while I am consulting and Classtime is the one I prefer.

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to attack checkbox questions, table questions, and graphing questions with their hotspot feature. Writing questions is very easy on this website. I have been able to take Eureka math assessments and rewrite them on Classtime so I can spend way less time grading them. Kids enjoy their quizzes much more now than when they used regular paper. It is also great for quick formative assessments.

  ### 10. Very user friendly and intuitive to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janine A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

- Users learn very fast how to use Classtime, even non-techies
- Fast feeling of success: You can create a set of questions in little time and you can use it right away
- Straightforward to use

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

- Nothing that needs to be mentioned here

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- We can offer interesting and modern study material to our customers

  ### 11. Takes a little bit to get going

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2017

**What do you like best about Classtime?**

I love that it has interactive games for the class.

**What do you dislike about Classtime?**

Takes a little bit to get it going. I spent a good few days figuring out how all of it worked.

**What problems is Classtime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love this. I train in the classroom and online. How fun for an online course, still working on learning the system,
