# Is FACTS Financial Aid Management worth it for small private schools?

You get verified IRS tax documents instead of chasing paper, a customizable awarding formula, and awards that flow straight into FACTS tuition billing. FACTS even reviews the documents and hands you a recommendation, while the final call stays with the school.

The small-school questions I can't answer from vendor pages:

Supporting docs take about 2 weeks to process. Fine in November, painful in a March enrollment crunch?

The application fee question is the one I'd push on hardest at a school with 40 aid families. If the fee discourages applications from exactly the families the school most wants to help, the efficiency gains from IRS transcript automation may not be worth the enrollment signal you're sending at the door.
