In addition, it has a lot of extensions, being open source, the community contributes many of them. The use of the tool by citizens is also very simple. **What do you dislike about Ckan?** In some parts its Open Source side is still noticeable, understood as simplicity or simplicity, but at the same time few configuration options. They should work a little more on this aspect, although the basic issues are there. **What problems is Ckan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our main use, in Smart Cities projects, is the publication of open data from the public Institutions with which we work, to make them available to the citizen. ### 2. Because it is a public platform, open-source, and used by many governments it is nice to be able to gain access to information free of charge and easily! **What do you dislike about Ckan?** The layout. Personally, I find it challenging to know where to go next to find what I want. I am new to this site, so perhaps it is a porduct of that but I would like to see an improved interface for users. **Recommendations to others considering Ckan:** I would really like to see Ckan improve their user interface. Organization could be better because I had trouble searching for what I want at times. Other than that i dont have any complaints. **What problems is Ckan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Access to free information! I can not disclose what we need it for, but it has been helpful in solving many of our issues for clients. ### 3. Being able to visualize the stats made it easier to communicate and act upon findings. Also inadvertently helped with link building seamlessly. **What do you dislike about Ckan?** As helpful as the keyword searching was, it was not efficient enough to be integrated into the product.
