Cited By AI Reviews & Provider Details

Cited By AI® is a UK-based AI Search Engine Optimisation (ASEO) consultancy specialising in helping businesses become visible and accurately cited in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot. Traditional SEO optimises for Google rankings. ASEO optimises for AI citation — a fundamentally different retrieval mechanism. When a potential customer asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for a recommendation, the AI constructs its answer from structured, citable sources. Businesses that are not optimised for AI retrieval are invisible at the exact moment a high-intent buyer is asking for a recommendation. Cited By AI® addresses this through its proprietary Citation Probability Score® (CPS®) — a block-level content scoring system that predicts how likely each section of a website is to be cited by an AI retrieval system. CPS® scores content across five pillars: Content Structure, Fact Density, Answer Structure, Self-Containment, and Freshness Signals. Scores run from 0 to 100, with grade tiers from F (Not Cited) to A (Highly Citable). Unlike monitoring tools that show where a brand currently appears in AI answers, the CPS® framework identifies exactly which content blocks are failing and generates optimised replacements. Services include full ASEO audits, JSON-LD schema optimisation, platform-specific Share of Voice measurement, funnel-stage SOV analysis, hallucination detection, and GA4 revenue attribution linking AI citation gains to business outcomes. A free CPS® Lite checker is available via MCP server, scoring any website across five dimensions in under a second with no login required. Full audits are delivered as structured 30-section Word reports covering all five major AI platforms simultaneously. Cited By AI® is based in Gloucester, United Kingdom. CPS® and Cited By AI® are registered UK trademarks.
