I never encountered a shortfall in the basic functions I required for work. The interface was much cleaner than the free/open-source options I tried. **What do you dislike about ChemDoodle?** A department-wide refresh of our laptops meant that our perpetual licenses needed to be reset and applied to the same program's new machine. However, support was dropped for our version, and our licenses could not be activated. In short, our paid perpetual licenses had no value, and the company refused even a discounted upgrade path. Customer service was terse and bordered on unprofessional. There are plenty of good options in the market. I suggest avoiding this one. **What problems is ChemDoodle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We primarily used this for chemical drawings for internal and external presentations. The results were clean. The dropping of support placed a complete stop on the use of Chem Doodle department-wide. ### 2. I don't think it has any limitation. **What problems is ChemDoodle solving and how is that benefiting you?** This software helped me to draw chemicals structures, reaction, and Mechanisms for my assigments and reasearch works. ### 3. It should populate the screen automatically with the structure, but instead you must manually draw it. **What problems is ChemDoodle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving large molecule creation problems as well as hypothetical binding between molecules. ### 4. You can even take the images and stick them in Adobe illustrator and manipulate them as needed and incorporate them into your figure. **What do you dislike about ChemDoodle?** There is a cost associated with it and was not a free software included in my academic software package, but for students it's a great deal and depending on the number of figures you are making the regular packages may also be a reasonable cost for you. **What problems is ChemDoodle solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used this program as a science communication tool and incorporated the work in presentations and publications. ### 5. It especially helped me when I first started learning chemistry. **What do you dislike about ChemDoodle?** Inputting chemical formulas could be tedious as you cannot look them up manually. **What problems is ChemDoodle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps visual learners understand chemistry better. ### 6.
