You have various opportunities to choose from - may it be in a gallery view or sorted into projects. And even though you have such vast customisation opportunities, you still are limited enough that you won't mess anything up. There is no need to use codes or buy different templates, if you feel like switching it up - you have total customisation and can transform your templates into different ones all by yourself. **What do you dislike about Carbonmade?** It was a bit difficult to get a hang of the different widgets at first, but when you use it for some time, it does get a lot easier. This might be the only downside at the moment for me. **Recommendations to others considering Carbonmade:** If you've struggled with building your own portfolio, definitely give this site a try. **What problems is Carbonmade solving and how is that benefiting you?** As I've already mentioned, it is by far the best platform to build your portfolio on (of which I've used). As the widgets are pre-made, you just have to fill in the blanks as they say. And I've probably had a very positive experience greatly due to their responsive support team. They also appreciate all kinds of feedback to constantly improve their product, which means that the platform is always evolving and most likely offering different customisation options as the years go by. ### 13. Unique tool set and most importantly quick to use features for updating and branding myself online. Knowledge of other options out there and standing out from the rest with a number of features I was looking for in a product like this. **What do you dislike about Carbonmade?** Not much as most things I asked for that are missing seem to be in the pipeline and will get added eventually... Most commonly being able to add in custom code or embeds anywhere would be nice, and I would also like more control over where my portfolio pages are on the page as currently they all stack in one place, but it would be cool to be able to separate and move certain pages above a gallery or other area for instance. I chose Carbonmade because it is optimized for mobile phones, which is accounting for more and more web traffic as people rely on their phones rather than laptops or home computers to explore the web. Carbonmade offers easy-to-use formats and templates. All you need to do is add words, photos, or videos to make your site your own. **What do you dislike about Carbonmade?** The templates do limit the diversity or options for how your content is displayed. The price is also very competitive. **What do you dislike about Carbonmade?** The templates are limiting by today's user-friendly web design tool standards. At the time, almost a decade ago, Carbonmade had template designs that put other to shame. But now, in the era of Wix and Squarespace, the templates are extremely limiting as far as design customization goes. One template does one thing upon rollover, but another does not. These should be simple toggle options. I'm a legacy user, so I probably won't migrate my stuff to another tool, but I can see many more people flocking to the other sites for this reason alone. I liked the options for layout and the preset design blocks made the whole portfolio designing process easy and quick. Currently the password feature is all or nothing - it either locks the whole site, or nothing at all.
