Multipass works like a charm with Windows 10 Pro and Hyper-V. I migrated to it from VirtualBox after upgrading to Windows 10 Pro. In W10Pro, Hyper-V is enabled by default, and Multipass takes care of all the VM management that is needed. Stuff that you did before using VBox. Thanks to multipass, I was able to continue using my workflow, as it was established with VBox.
One more key asset of multipass I like is the fact that multipass delete does not actually delete your VM and you can restore it. You need to multipass purge in order to really wipe them out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Two things:
1. Ubuntu only VMS
2. From time to time I have to delete "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.ics" . This is needed when you try to start the VM and you get a time out from multipass. When you see such an error message check the contents of this file. If they are mangled, delete it and reboot (unfortunately). You're done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
