Recommendations to others considering Camera M:
Take some time and play around with it a bit before you use it for your final purpose. There is a bit to learn and you have to get the hang of how to use it and remember it's a simulation, so there is some learning to be done before you can actively shoot and get good quality work. When I first used it I spent a few hours testing on the weekend and made sure I was very familiar with the lighting I would encounter to know how to adjust without much trial and error. It's a wonderful option for places where cameras would be too conspicuous or are not allowed and you still want to capture professional-looking photography and have all or most of the options you would have with a real camera.
It helps you capture images with manual iso and exposure controls that are far superior to the built-in options in your smartphone camera. You can even adjust color with live histogram displays. For the price, you're really getting a lot with this application.
Everyone who has spent hours in post with their photos will appreciate all the options available to correct the image capture. It will save you tons of time if you know what you're doing while shooting, and $4 is a small price to pay to avoid the "fix it in post" headaches we all know. It really is like a pocket DSLR.
We used it when we were trying to capture professional images during events that were not in ideal locations to bring in a bunch of photography gear. It helped us get what we needed without having to hire help or worry about where we would store a bunch of gear when we weren't using it.
