"Affordable and Insightful, Perfect for Small Teams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Buffer?

I use Buffer for scheduling posts, which is a big help when I'm managing my travel company, especially during long trips with low network zones. I find it affordable, which makes it the best fit for a small organization like ours. I also appreciate the insights feature as it helps me understand what's working with my audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

LinkedIn PDF upload is not available and Buffer lacks Hootsuite's content idea and content listening tools. It also does not allow me to properly preview, and in general, it does not feel seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ideal Free Tool for Solo Social Media Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Buffer?

I like that Buffer offers up to 3 social channels for free, which is very valuable for me. It's great that I can manage my clients' social media, schedule posts, and track the performance of posts without having to log into individual channels. I appreciate being able to track user engagement across multiple platforms in a single window, which helps me plan future posts efficiently. The initial setup was very easy thanks to the on-screen guidance and guided tour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I think AI caption generation in the free plan would be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Buffer Gets Social Media Done"
5/5
What do you like best about Buffer?

Buffer helps with platforms that are a bit less utilized, such as Blusky. I can use it for Instagram and Facebook easily. I like that I can save unlimited drafts until I can queue them.

Customer support has always been helpful when there are glitches, although sometimes, when there are upgrades, it gets glitchier than I'd hoped. It is easy to integrate with mainstream social apps and newer ones like Blusky Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Buffer is great in general, but I have trouble squinting at the screen for the calendars. It's not clunky or anything like that, I just think the calendar display could be better. I really have no other complaints. It's really easy to use if you're used to using social media software. Getting set up is easy as well. I've never used customer support, to be honest. But I use this all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy and Affordable, but Glitchy Posts and Limited Reporting"
3/5
What do you like best about Buffer?

It's easy to use for beginners. It's also one of the more affordable options. One of the only places you can schedule Bluesky and Threads Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Glitches a lot or posts fail. Limited reporting capabilities and a bit too simplistic for complex workflows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"To improve and simplify your social media routine, Buffer is a powerful scheduling application"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Buffer?

What I genuinely love most about Buffer is how simple and clean it makes everything.

It takes the overwhelming feeling out of social media management. You get this beautiful, easy-to-use content calendar where you can quickly see the entire week ahead. That way, you can step back, plan your content, and then the app just reliably takes care of the posting for you.

For me, that simplicity and the ability to schedule things out in bulk is a total time-saver—it lets me actually focus on creating good content instead of constantly fiddling with different platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

The primary downside of Buffer is its simplicity—it lacks the advanced features found in competitors.

The main complaints are:

Limited Engagement & Listening: It doesn't offer robust tools for social listening (monitoring brand mentions across the web) or a unified inbox for quickly managing all comments and replies.

Basic Analytics: The reports are often considered too shallow for large teams that require in-depth competitive or custom reporting.

Cost for Scale: The pricing can get expensive quickly if you manage a large number of social accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Social Media Scheduling with a Few Hiccups"
4/5
What do you like best about Buffer?

I like that Buffer is intuitive to use and feature-rich. Even though there are capabilities that are more advanced than what we need, it's really helpful for the most simple and valuable tasks. It also makes it easy to visually plan out what we're doing on different days, and I like the set it and forget it mentality it provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Sometimes posts fail, which is frustrating. It's probably more on the social media platforms than it is on Buffer, but it's still annoying. And there are certain types of posts that you cannot schedule in advance, which is annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Convenience of publications, limited free features"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Buffer?

I like that Buffer helps schedule posts in different time zones. It's really convenient because you can set posts for any time within a specified time zone. I also liked that its setup is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I don't like the limited number of free channels that can be added; I would like more in the free version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Goal-Setting Features Is Innovative"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Buffer?

I really liked the feature that lets me set goals for each channel. It made even routine posting feel like an achievement and gave me a clearer sense of progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I ran into an issue with auto-posting and ended up having to post manually, which I didn’t realize I would need to do. It turns out I had to download the app first, then use the media and caption to upload everything manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
