It focuses on simplifying complex test environments, supports automated testing and integrates with various development tools. It is praised for ease of use and feels that the tool offers more advanced features for complex simulation. It is used for creation of virtual services that behave like real services. It is a reliable and powerful tool useful for large enterprises. It is frequently used for developing the services and it has gained huge customer support. **What do you dislike about Broadcom Service Virtualization?** Initial setup is a time-consuming process. The major drawback is it is costlier when we want to use advanced features. The tool is powerful but often considered complex to set up and use effectively. For large enterprises, the cost is justified, but for small to mid-sized enterprises, the licensing cost is not budget-friendly. Integration testing can be done much earlier, reduced testing cost. **What do you dislike about Broadcom Service Virtualization?** None. May be the skills of testers. Many of the existing testers are not skilled in service virtualization or they prefer the old traditional way of developing and testing. A proper change management is required before service virtualization becomes the new culture. **What problems is Broadcom Service Virtualization solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time and money in application development and enhancement. Service virtualization provides the flexibility of testing early and removing the bottlenecks much before. Without this, the dev team must wait for an almost ready and deployed product to start functional, Integration and other testing efforts. If they find any error (which is OK at this stage also), it is already late to fix. ### 3. It's easier to use and also compatible in most cases. It helps to save money for not needing to have an actual servers for the applications. **What do you dislike about Broadcom Service Virtualization?** One of the things I don't really like is the lack of scalability. As the usage increases, it doesn't have an effective way to scale up to meet the growing needs. Also, it's not compatible for some hardwares and applications.
