Kludgy software with bugs - Stay away from BriteVenue **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2023 **What do you like best about BriteVenue?** Britevenue does have a number of integrations but so do other platforms. **What do you dislike about BriteVenue?** I've been using BriteVenue for over a year and have had a number of issues. -The system will automatically activate the credit card portal for customers even if you have it turned off. This means you may be charged credit card fees without the ability to recoup them from customers. They know their system does this, it's not in any documentation and they have no intention of fixing it, in fact they don't see it as a flaw. -You will be nickel and dimed for every feature -Since beginning to use BriteVenue I haven't seen a single improvement -Many of the integrations don't function well if they function at all -The user experience leaves much to be desired and many features are difficult to figure out, so much so that you really need their tech support to help you understand the ways in which they work -The reporting is severely lacking. If you're looking for things like close rates by lead source, financial reporting for accounting, or anything useful at all then you will be disappointed, there's none of that. The reports they do have aren't at all useful for a venue -There is no clean way for their system to handle deposits -There is no clean way for their system to handle refunds -There is no clean way for their system to handle completed weddings -There is no clean way for their system to handle credit card processing fees -So now I have to process credit card transactions manually and add additional paperwork for couples who want to use a credit card **What problems is BriteVenue solving and how is that benefiting you?** BriteVenue is currently causing more problems than it's solving ### 2. this is a no brainer if you want a seamless, less stressful wedding **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022 **What do you like best about BriteVenue?** Finally you do not have to plan a wedding the old school way. My wedding got pushed due to covid and we ended up canceling the wedding after all. Now we used Brite Venue and I feel like it was a waste of time searching for venues in person. Now we the virtual demo and viewing we were stoked with our choices and final selection. **What do you dislike about BriteVenue?** There is always the thought of what it would actually look and feel like in person for your big day but we were comfortable with the virtual presentations and options that we wanted it. **What problems is BriteVenue solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making the wedding planning process so much less stressful and way more streamlined. I tell all of my friends getting married now to at least check out Brite Venue. I wish we had this option/known about it before. ### 3. The execution was in time and presentable, Extra-ordinary and mindboggling venues are chosen. **What do you dislike about BriteVenue?** The booking was quite expensive. Service should be available across the globe so that more people know about Brite Venue and also this would help more and more people be employed **What problems is BriteVenue solving and how is that benefiting you?** Due to covid - 19, the BriteVenue did face restrictions to hosting events in multiple venues. This led to the firing of many employees. But over time the BriteVenue has recovered from the hit and improved the problems it faced. ### 4.
