What I like best about them is how truly frictionless it makes test automation. As someone from a lean tech team, we didn’t have the luxury of a dedicated QA engineer, and BotGauge let us ship reliable automation in literally hours. The UI is intuitive, the onboarding was effortless, and most importantly, even non-technical teammates like product managers could start building and running test cases. Honestly, the only real downside is their visibility. I couldn’t find them easily through a Google search and only came across BotGauge after connecting with Mr. Vivek directly. That’s surprising because they’re solving a real and urgent problem in the test automation space. I’d strongly recommend they invest more in marketing and SEO, because there are so many teams out there who need exactly what they’ve built but just don’t know it exists yet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BotGauge has an excellent team of engineers and solutions teams to help assess and design a demo and onboarding experience, the people here truly help the platform shine. The features I most resonate with:

- Super easy test creation. I see an opportunity for product folks to become the main power users of this platform.

- Robust API integration to make requests and assert network responses to your APIs or externally.

- Easy CI integration

- Integrations with device farms like Browserstack/saucelabs for cross-browser needs

Only one slight caveat - the scripting is proprietary and not exportable to top frameworks, eg. Cypress, Playwright. While I think the ease of creating and maintain tests make this less of a concern, I can see it be an initial point of friction. There are a lot of features I liked about BotGauge. Be it AI test case generation by taking PRDs and Figma files as input. Then making the AI LC-NC test script ready mentioning even the functions that we should consider having to have modular and clean tests.

This is a game changer. I have come across a few more tools that use AI but only upto the level of writing test cases for a feature, and not automating/scripting at all.

Moreover, the split screen live interaction with the remote machine and stepwise validation of AI steps is also commendable. Becomes very easy to make little tweaks and fill in the blanks left in AI generated steps.

Also, their in house algorithm for element detection can do wonders in saving the maintenence time. Knowing the fact that they don't rely solely on CSS selectors, DOM elements, XPath, etc. and detect the correct element every time give you peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In our case, our product is quite resource demanding, we required GPU support in the VM for it to run smoothly. BotGauge team tried their best to help us with better remote machines but it didn't work well. We have faced similar issues with other cloud based testing platforms as well, hence, we were looking for an on-prem deployment on our local machines, which is not available yet.

Furthermore, there is no trial option. They would prepare an in-house POC first, then demo and later we can experience the solution, if it works. An open trial could have been better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part of BotGauge is how easily it converts PRDs and Figma screens into automated test cases. Its user-friendly interface lets anyone, even without technical expertise, generate and maintain test scripts in plain English. It simplifies the whole process, saving us time and effort. AI integrated tool makes it the future fit and the parallel record of browser screen is well
