# Borderfolio Reviews & Product Details

BorderFolio is a contribution-first portfolio tracking and analytics platform designed for long-term international investors. Users can import broker statements in PDF or CSV format, as well as screenshots and photos, without maintaining a permanent connection to their broker. BorderFolio turns this information into a structured portfolio history showing current holdings, contributions, monthly snapshots, dividends, fees and withholding. Unlike trackers that focus only on the current balance, BorderFolio separates the investor’s own contributions from market gains and investment income. Its performance analytics explain how the portfolio was built, including realized and unrealized gains, dividends and interest, broker fees, source withholding, personal return (XIRR) and portfolio return (TWR), where sufficient historical data is available.
