"Boords Makes Storyboarding and Video Planning Effortless"
4.5/5
Describe the project or task Boords helped with:

Boords is helping me organize my content creator journey. What I like most about Boords is how easy it makes storyboard creation and video planning. I can organize scenes, add scripts and descriptions, and create visual references all in one place, instead of managing everything across different tools. The collaboration and feedback features are also useful because they make it easier to share storyboards with team members or clients and gather input before production begins. Overall, Boords makes the pre-production process more organized, clearer, and more efficient. Boords fits well into my content creation workflow because I mainly use it during the planning stage before moving into production and editing. I can organize ideas and scripts in Boords, create a visual storyboard, and then use that plan while working with other tools for video editing and design. I do not expect Boords to replace those tools, but it works well as a central place for planning scenes and sharing ideas before the actual production starts. The ability to share storyboards and collect feedback also helps reduce confusion when working with other people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boords Turns Scripts into Storyboards Fast with Helpful AI Scene Generation"
5/5
What do you like best about Boords?

What I like best about Boords is how quickly it helps turn an idea or script into a visual storyboard. Instead of creating each frame from scratch, I can use AI to generate scenes and get a clear visual idea of how the final video could look. It is useful when planning presentations, videos, or creative projects because it makes it easier to organize scenes and communicate the overall concept. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boords?

One thing I don't like about Boords is that the AI-generated scenes do not always match the exact visual I have in mind. Sometimes I need to adjust the prompts or regenerate a few frames to get the right result. I would also like more control over character consistency and visual details across different storyboard frames. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boords Brings Order to Pre-Production with One-Click Animatics and Easy Client Sharing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Boords?

Boords solves the chaos of pre-production in one clean interface. As someone who uses it for content ideation and storyboarding, the one-click animatic feature is genuinely impressive, you go from frames to a timed visual in seconds. The client sharing with no login required is a standout: you send a link, they comment frame by frame, and approvals stay on record. No more "FinalFinal_v3_USE_THIS" PDF disasters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boords?

The AI image generation feels secondary to the core workflow, it's functional but not the star of the show. For solo creators or personal projects, some of the collaboration-heavy features feel a bit over-engineered. A lighter personal plan with more AI generation credits would make it an easier daily-driver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful for Turning Complex Product Flows Into Reviewable Storyboards"
4/5
What do you like best about Boords?

II use Boords to map product and engineering workflows before discussing them with the wider team. I recently used it to break down a rider journey into stages such as ride request, driver matching, driver approach, pickup verification, and trip start. Keeping the user action, application response, and engineering considerations together in each frame makes the flow much easier to review and discuss before implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boords?

The AI-generated visuals are useful for getting an initial storyboard together quickly, but they don't always match the exact product experience I have in mind. I usually need to refine some visuals and descriptions manually, especially when the workflow has detailed product or engineering requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boords Makes Storyboarding Fast and Effortless"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Boords?

What I like best about Boords is how easy it makes storyboard creation. The interface is clean, the tools are straightforward, and you can lay out scenes quickly without getting stuck in complicated menus. It keeps the workflow simple and lets you focus on the actual story. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boords?

The only thing I dislike is that some of Boords’ advanced features feel a bit tucked away. The core workflow is great, but when you want deeper control or more detailed adjustments, it sometimes takes extra clicks to find what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boords Streamlines Storyboarding with an Intuitive, All-in-One Workspace"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Boords?

Boords has made storyboarding significantly faster and more organized by bringing scripts, scenes, feedback, and revisions into a single workspace. Before adopting it, planning visual projects meant juggling multiple documents, images, and feedback threads, which slowed collaboration and introduced unnecessary revisions. The intuitive interface makes it easy for both creative and non-technical team members to contribute, while smooth performance keeps large storyboards responsive. Flexible export options fit naturally into existing production workflows, reducing manual effort and improving communication with stakeholders. The time saved during pre-production has delivered a strong return on investment, and the short learning curve allows new team members to become productive quickly. AI-assisted capabilities also help accelerate brainstorming and storyboard creation, making the creative process more efficient without limiting creative control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boords?

While Boords is easy to use, some advanced collaboration and project management capabilities are still limited compared to larger creative platforms. Large storyboard projects can occasionally become harder to organize as the number of scenes grows, and I'd like to see more integrations with production and editing tools. Pricing may also feel high for freelancers or small teams, especially if they only need the platform for occasional projects. Expanding AI-assisted planning features and offering more customization options for workflows would make the platform even more valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Focused Platform That Keeps Feedback and Projects on Track"
5/5
What do you like best about Boords?

Boords is a very simple platform with no extra features—just a few useful ones for scripting and video editing. It helps me work with my peer and keep everything tracked in one place. When suggestions come in from clients, the email notifications feature help me follow up and track everything easily, so nothing gets missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boords?

I think I’m missing one thing here: AI Boords is a very good platform for those who want their ideas to stay natural, with no interference from AI. So, if you’re specifically looking to use AI and want that in mind, then this tool is not for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, All-in-One Storyboarding Workspace with Smooth Client Collaboration"
4/5
What do you like best about Boords?

The best thing I like about this Boards platform is how easy it is for us to make this storyboarding process and rather than creating a storyboard manually in slides or PDF or even a design tool, this platform gives a proper workspace where we can add script, frame, visuals and notes and even client feedback in a single place. Their collaboration features are also very useful, where our clients can review the storyboard and comment on specific frames and approve their versions without long email threads where this makes our feedback very much cleaner and reduces our confusion around pitch version is final. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boords?

This platform is very much useful for storyboarding but the teams who need advanced design control and animation editing or even highly level custom visual layout it may still need to be tagged or combined with other creativity tools. With this platform, some AI-generated visuals may also need refinement before they are client-ready and for new users it can also take some time to understand how to best organize storyboard and versions and other client comments, these should be looked into it by having some strong onboarding support I would say. "It Keeps Me Focused on The Big Picture, Not Stuck Inside The Frames"
5/5
What do you like best about Boords?

Playing around the interface is beyond intuitive and engaging. It really helps remain focused on the creative work rather than figuring out where everything is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boords?

To be honest, I find nothing to complain about. All that I can wish is to foster, maybe if this aligns with your business vision, a community space where users can choose to make some of their storyboards public for the sake of feedback and collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Turns Thoughts Into Beautifully Illustrated Stories"
5/5
What do you like best about Boords?

I loved the way it transforms my thoughts into beautifully illustrated stories. It’s a really fun app that lets you create and design short stories with illustrations, which makes the text feel more engaging and interesting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Boords?

The FREE plan should include all features enabled for a trial period, so people can get hands-on experience with everything and really get a taste of the product. That would also make it easier for users to decide whether to upgrade their plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
