"Powerful, Flexible Analytics Platform with Intuitive Design and Excellent Support"
What do you like best about Bold BI?

Bold BI provides a powerful and flexible analytics platform that is easy to implement and integrate with various data sources. The dashboard designer is intuitive, allowing both technical and non-technical users to build meaningful visualizations quickly. Its ability to connect directly to databases, APIs, and web services makes it highly suitable for enterprise-level reporting. I also appreciate the strong customization options, embedding capabilities, and the overall performance when handling large datasets. Customer support has also been responsive and helpful whenever assistance is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bold BI?

While Bold BI is feature-rich, there are areas that can be improved. Some advanced configurations require deeper technical knowledge, and certain UI components can feel less polished compared to other enterprise BI tools. Updates or version upgrades occasionally require manual adjustments to retain existing settings. Additionally, performance can be affected when working with extremely complex dashboards unless optimized carefully. Improving documentation for more advanced use cases would also be beneficial. "Perfect Fit for BI Needs, Great Support Team"
What do you like best about Bold BI?

I really value the longstanding relationship with Syncfusion, as it led us to Bold BI, which was a perfect fit from the start. The support provided by the Bold BI team has been extremely helpful, especially during setup when we encountered a few minor issues. Their ongoing support has been excellent, resolving any issues promptly and effectively. I also appreciate the ability to slice and dice data to meet customer requirements, which is a key feature for us. This functionality allows for creating custom experiences for each of our customers, helping them analyze sales and performance data in real-time, which is very meaningful to them. The ease of deployment, coupled with the excellent results and the beautiful design of Bold BI, makes it a standout tool for us. It's these aspects that would make me consider purchasing Bold BI again confidently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bold BI is an excellent choice for organizations"
What do you like best about Bold BI?

1. Seamless Integration with Diverse Data Sources

Bold BI shines when it comes to connecting with almost any data source, including SQL databases, REST APIs, Excel, cloud storage, and enterprise apps like Salesforce or Dynamics. Its native support for real-time dashboards is a huge plus for data-driven teams.

2. Embedded BI with White-Labeling Options

The ability to embed dashboards into external applications—with full white-labeling—is one of Bold BI’s most powerful features. This is perfect for SaaS companies or teams looking to integrate analytics directly into their workflows or client portals.

3. Drag-and-Drop Dashboard Designer

The intuitive UI allows non-technical users to build impressive dashboards without writing code, while still giving developers the power to script custom widgets or queries when needed.

4. Role-Based Security & Multitenancy

Security and access control are handled exceptionally well. Bold BI supports row-level security, user roles, and multi-tenant setups, making it ideal for both internal use and customer-facing platforms.

5. Self-Hosting and Cloud Deployment Flexibility

Whether you want a fully cloud-managed environment or prefer to self-host on-premises or in Azure/AWS, Bold BI offers deployment options that scale with your organization’s IT policies and compliance requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bold BI?

Areas for Improvement:

Dashboard load times can occasionally be slower with very large datasets unless optimized properly.

The mobile app experience is functional but could benefit from more UI enhancements and smoother interactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bold BI is great for building clean, customizable dashboards"
What do you like best about Bold BI?

Once you learn the basics, Bold BI is pretty smooth to use. The drag-and-drop interface makes dashboard creation quick, and the variety of charts and connectors helps a lot. I use it a few times a week to track team data, and it’s been reliable for most of my work. I also like that it integrates easily with other platforms we already use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bold BI?

Setting it up for the first time took some time, and I had to look up tutorials to understand a few features. Some advanced customizations need a bit of technical experience. Customer support is responsive but sometimes slower on complex queries Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Embedded analytics that’s fast, secure, and easy to ship"
What do you like best about Bold BI?

We use Bold BI for embedded analytics inside our HR/payroll portals. The drag-and-drop dashboard designer, strong row-level security, and straightforward embedding SDKs let us ship customer-facing dashboards quickly. Native connectors (databases + REST), parameters/filters, scheduled refresh, and export to PDF/Excel cover most stakeholder needs. White-labeling and SSO (OAuth/SAML) made the UX feel truly “ours,” and support has been responsive when we needed help. Overall, it strikes a great balance between speed and value, as well as enterprise controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bold BI?

Complex calculated fields and custom theming have a learning curve. Mobile layouts sometimes need manual tweaks, and very dense widgets can feel heavy without caching. Version upgrades require planning, and I’d love tighter Git/CI workflows for dashboards plus more flexible alerting/webhooks out of the box. None of these are blockers, but they’re areas for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid BI Platform with Great Customization Options"
What do you like best about Bold BI?

I like the highly customizable dashboards and the ability to connect with a wide range of data sources. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive once you get used to it, and the visualizations are professional and easy to share. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bold BI?

The initial setup can be complex, especially for teams without dedicated technical support. Some advanced features require more in-depth documentation or support to implement effectively. Performance may also vary when dealing with very large datasets or complex joins, and mobile responsiveness can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful BI Tool with Great Customization but Some Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Bold BI?

I really like the drag-and-drop dashboard builder and the wide range of integrations available. The customization options allow me to tailor dashboards exactly to business needs. The ability to embed dashboards into web applications is also a big plus. It helps teams get real-time insights without needing to switch platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bold BI?

The initial setup and learning curve can be challenging, especially for new users who are not familiar with BI tools. Sometimes the documentation feels a bit too technical and lacks simplified guides for beginners. Performance can also slow down with very large datasets, which needs improvement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive BI Solution with Smooth Integrations"
What do you like best about Bold BI?

Bold BI offers an intuitive drag-and-drop dashboard designer and a rich set of visualization widgets. The ability to embed dashboards into web apps or portals is seamless, and the product integrates smoothly with multiple data sources (SQL, REST APIs, Excel, etc.). Their support team is responsive and documentation is clear, which makes onboarding easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bold BI?

While the platform is strong, the initial learning curve for advanced customization is a bit steep. Some heavy dashboards can take extra time to render, and the mobile experience could be more polished. More prebuilt templates for common use cases would save setup time. "Perfect Mix of Flexibility, Support, and Value."
What do you like best about Bold BI?

Bold BI gives you a lot of value for the price. It connects to all kinds of data sources like SQL, Excel, REST APIs, Salesforce, and more. The dashboards update in real time, which is super helpful for staying on top of changes. I really like how easy it is to embed dashboards into other apps with white labeling, which makes it a strong option for SaaS companies.

The drag-and-drop dashboard builder is very user-friendly, and you don’t need to be a developer to make something impressive. At the same time, developers can still go deeper with custom queries or widgets. Security is well covered with role-based access and row-level controls, and the multi-tenant setup works well. The product is well documented, easy to train people on, and the support team has been excellent. It’s powerful without being too complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bold BI?

There are a few areas that could use some polish. The mapping features are a little limited, and stronger map visuals would make reporting even better. Once you create a data source, it can feel clunky to add new fields, so you need to plan ahead. We’ve also run into more bugs when using Docker and Kubernetes compared to Windows, so it would be nice if testing was more balanced across environments. Lastly, it would be great if paginated reports were built into Bold BI instead of needing a separate product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Evaluating Bold BI for our SaaS offering"
What do you like best about Bold BI?

Bold Bi has many great features compared to more expensive competitors

Flexible Embed features for SaaS

Great pivoting capabilities.

Easy to create custom visuals.

Has the ability to create Hierarchies.

Great customer support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bold BI?

It is missing finishing touches like ways to categorize attributes and measures into logical groupings for users to consume.

The table widgets, one of the most used widgets need more development, there are workarounds.

A more robust and reusable semantic layer across all dashboards that allows the creation of "Perspectives" where each department would have a slightly different version of the semantic model than other departments.

Though it has its own versioning capabilities it is missing GIT versioning integration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
