## Bluebeam Reviews
  ### 1. This has been my go-to since 2006

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany L. | Principal; Marketing and Sales Strategy and Process Development, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2016

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Insane features from the basic Revu level all the way up to Studio and other Enterprise solutions. Makes collaboration a breeze and having some of my favorite markups stored expedites my creative production.

Love the markup summary feature.

I use extract and combine features regularly. Combine documents may actually be the one I use the most, especially when dealing with business taxes, state agencies, etc.

Appreciate that I can enter RGB for color selection.

It's generally more affordable than other versions.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The OCR could be better, still lags a little (at least with the last time I looked) in reverse conversion that some other platforms do.

Price is advancing.

Don't really love the new design, but I don't strongly dislike it either. I'd been on the same version for 5 years though, so the change may have been more jarring to me than to others.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

Get a demo from them or reach out to their pre-sales team. Their help is exceptional, and because there are SO many features, you might feel lost. They can help you quickly figure out the best way to do what you need to do. If you're an enterprise, you're missing out not using this.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this for hundreds of documents. I actually use it more than any other software when I need to combine and edit images with text. I have a robust image editing and graphics creation software, but for creating diagrams, presentations, and other types of mixed documents, I don't even usually start in word and convert anymore, I just start in Bluebeam.

Whenever I need to collaborate with a client, I use Studio for version control and "CYA" notes.

I use highlighting and tags to mockup "notes" on long documents, to review and collaborate, and the markup summary is a great little trick for showing the client all of your notes in one clean place.

  ### 2. Next Level PDF Software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clayton S. | Estimator, Construction, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2016

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I love the flexibility and customizability of Bluebeam; commenting, marking up drawings, and editing pdfs with bluebeam couldn't be easier.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I wish bluebleam had the look and feel of Adobe Acrobat. Some things within bluebeam seem a bit clunky.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

I feel that bluebeam is directed more toward the construction industry, I would not recommend the software for end users at home.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently use this software to mark up blueprints for projects. Our field uses it to create as built drawings. It truly is key player for the construction industry.

  ### 3. I love Bluebeam

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2016

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Very often around our office, we exclaim "I love Bluebeam!" while working because it has improved productivity and made a few things a lot easier to do. I love that it is easy to combine PDFs, mark-up PDFs, reduce file size, make presentations, and it's easy to do it all!

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

We haven't fully implemented all of the features of Bluebeam, but I haven't found anything that I really dislike about the program.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

Give it a try, it's a great program!

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and managing PDFs is more simple and easy to do; it's easy to use Bluebeam Revu as a printer for PDFs and then immediately edit and combine PDFs. It's easy to markup notes to coordinate with different consultants or for in-house use.

  ### 4. Very Functional Productivity Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2016

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Ability to manipulate and combine PDF documents with ease and very intuitively. The ability to do take-offs within the program is also very valuable as you can calibrate distances and make measurements directly in the software. This function is also very easy to use once you figure it out.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Some menus and functions can be difficult to navigate to if user is unfamiliar with program.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

Take some time to familiarize yourself with the system. Once you learn it it will become extremely valuable and will become part of your everyday workflow. It is specifically designed for use in the engineering field and so many features are geared towards those who are in the industry.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps with management of drawings and project documents. Also helps to keep the project organized and submittals looking professional.

  ### 5. All-in-one PDF software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2016

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam has everything you need that makes all my tasks easier since I don't have to go to other software, or viewer. There's different tabs to manipulate PDF, full of shortcuts and have all the features such as flatten or overlay which is very helpful in professional setting.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Not much. Maybe a feature that change/add/remove some of 'button' on the taskbar on top. Also, there's no shortcut on some of the things that I actually need a shortcut to.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Bluebeam to mark mechanical and piping drawing with location of seismic restraints and/or vibration isolation as requested by customer and also to adhere the International Building Code (IBC). Bluebeam is just fast, with so much features that I think I only used less than 25% of them.

  ### 6. Great simple tool for PDF markups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2016

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

It's easy to review shop drawings and other documents that need measured and scaled. Adding text and leaders is a breeze

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The default view settings. I'm use to scrolling down in a multi-page document instead you have to click the left right buttons to view other pages in the document

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

Do it. Other PDF software are so overrated and Bluebeams format is so much easier to use.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Architecture and design. Bluebeam is superior to combining multi-page documents and compressing them into a manageable file size for easy digital transfer.

  ### 8. Great software for reading and editing PDFs
