**What do you like best about Blue Ridge Global?**

The two things that I like best about Blue Ridge Global is the assistance from the Life Line Support agents in assisting me in my business planning and the data that is housed in the SCA (Supply Chain Analytics) package.  The SCA package is a very easy to use way to create and analyze reporting for all levels within our organization.  I am in the SCA platform daily.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

The only downside, if I can really call it that, is the inability to shrink columns within the SCP planning view.  While all of the infomration is available to review, the display could use some work.

**What problems is Blue Ridge Global solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility to our products.  We have a way to view, but the there is no ability to maniulate the data.

**What do you like best about Blue Ridge Global?**

I like that the data in Blue Ridge Global is easy to see and visualize. It's also customizable and user-friendly, which has made it possible for me to train several people on it. I appreciate being able to drag in the fields we need for our ordering decisions, like days delay, calendar days of inventory, on order, and pallet quantities. This feature is really helpful for managing our 1,000 SKUs and optimizing orders to fill up shipping container-sized volumes efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

I feel like we aren't exactly the target customer for it. Almost all of our orders are imported shipping containers and we have to build the brackets and orders around that. For example, we constantly adjust SOQs to optimize container volume and pallets. I think from what I heard that it was a huge process and took awhile, we have thousands of skus.  Also, I have to talk about our frustrations with our suppprt.  Our lifeline rep is overseas and we can only connect for a call at 8 AM our time.  He is very helpful on calls, but gives very short and punctual emails that hardly ever fully answer our questions.  He helps fix the issue, but we really want to understand root causes and we rarely get satisfactory explanations from him.  I see the great Life Line reps at this conference and honestly wish we could get 1 of them instead in our timezone.  The service desk support team has also been frustrating.  We can't do CSV uploads and sometimes they will take multiple days to complete them for us even when we say it is an urgent request.  We tried to add a nrw location recently and were not aware that this would duplicate all of our SKUs for the 2nd location.  It didn't cause any actual issues, but it wrecked our KPIs and other data.  Once we identified it we asked them to revert the change and it still took almost a week.  If they had told us this would duplicate SKUs we never would have made the change, but they seem to take requests extremely literally and not consider the impact of the changes.  Overall, the support has by far been our biggest pain point and frustration with Blueridge.

Blue Ridge Global helps us forecast for 1,000 SKUs and optimizes shipping container orders. It provides easy data visualization and customization, letting us make decisions based on essential data points like delay days and pallet quantities.

The dashboard with alerts helps keep the team focused on the few items that matter, instead of trying to manage everything at once. I also like the ability to log all the deals and have the system calculate the best buy strategy.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

I’d like the deal to support additional layers so we can capture everything in one place, instead of needing to create several separate deals. For example, we may want to include 10% off if you spend 25K, plus an additional 2% if you pay early, and also other similar conditions.

**What problems is Blue Ridge Global solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blue Ridge has solved my resource allocation issue. We used to spend 2 to 3 days each week reviewing every product, but now we focus on the Alerts and can complete the PO process in hours instead of days.

Blue Ridge makes the buying process very easy, as long as the data is managed correctly. It can take some time to get familiar with the software, but once you get past the learning curve, planning becomes much more efficient. On top of that, the metrics and report-building system makes it simple to generate calculated insights for internal use and to share valuable feedback with suppliers.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

The main issue for me is the lack of column filtering. I can’t search within a column the way I can in Excel, so I end up having to export the data just to get that functionality.

Blue Ridge offers best in class replenishment logic and user-friendly interface.  The system is highly intuitive and allows users to build optimized orders to the vendors balancing service and cost.  Additionally, the Blue Ridge team is highly invested in customer success and is willing to listen to their needs.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

Blue Ridge has lagged behind some other best in class demand planning and IBP/SIOP engines, but is catching up by continually evolving their IBP platform.  They've got work to do to make demand and supply planning as efficient as the SCP replenishment engine, but are making progress and listening to customers.

**What problems is Blue Ridge Global solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blue Ridge gives us a one-stop shop for all of our inventory management needs - statistical demand planning, collaborative consensus forecasting with sales and merchandising, visibility to future purchases and inventory, and replenishment execution to help us achieve our targets.  Additionally, the SCA module allows us to slice and dice our inventory data and find opportunities for service improvements or efficiency gains.

No real dislikes yet.  We find small things that would make the user experience a bit better  Blue Ridge is always working on enhancements to the product and leading the way in this category

Reduction of hours to purchase inventory thus increasing turns and inventory efficiency.  Forecasting accuracy benchmarking allowing you to focus on items that have high deviation.  Demand exeptions that target the problem items to consider.

**What do you like best about Blue Ridge Global?**

I use Blue Ridge Global for analyzing our inventory supply and demand, which helps keep our customers taken care of and manage our overages and dollars on hand. I really like the training videos, which were a huge help when getting started. Our representative, Katcia, is amazing and always points us in the right direction when we're unsure of where to start. This gives me confidence in what I'm purchasing because I can understand why I'm purchasing those items. I also appreciate that you can change how you view data, like graphs or charts, which is great since people learn and view things differently. Once the reporting is set up, I find it very manageable and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

When I am looking at all buyers for items, if I click into any other screen, I have to go back again and change it to all buyers each time as it defaults back to just me. Also, when viewing an item in item manager, if you want to see any other location, you have to go to the search glass, copy and paste the item number, and select the location. Then, if you need to look at a third location, you have to do the same. It should just have a simple drop-down field to view all locations for that item.

I use Blue Ridge Global for analyzing inventory supply and demand, keeping customer satisfaction and overages in check. It eliminates guessing by providing data to guide purchase decisions and inventory management, ensuring we know what items to stock.

I like Blue Ridge Global's enhanced system which dives into the data to provide more accurate needs for our business. I also appreciate the demand exception feature as it helps us find where our forecast may need to be adjusted. We can dive into the exceptions to see if we need to increase or decrease our forecasts for a given item.

When we do MEIO transfers, it would be great to have the ability to set specific reorder multiples for the transfers.

Blue Ridge Global enhances our demand planning by diving into data for more accurate business needs. The demand exception feature lets us adjust forecasts efficiently, helping us determine if we need to increase or decrease forecasts for specific items.

Blue ridge is very responsive to issues or requests. My requests are handle quickly and thoroughly. The only learnings are very well put together.

There isn't much I don't like about Blue Ridge. If I had to say anything, it would be that the website can be slow to navigate at peak hours during the day.

Most of our product ordering and forecasting was manual. Blue Ridge gave us many more options to optimize it and to actually plan ahead and around processes that were manual beforehand.  It also gave me more time to focus on other, more profitable projects.

**What do you like best about Blue Ridge Global?**

Having used Blue Ridge for several years now, I have experienced numerous benefits. Our inventory levels have decreased, which has been a positive change. Although we have had some turnover among our Inventory and Demand Planners, the training video library and accompanying tests have proven to be invaluable resources for onboarding new team members. The Life Line consultant available to us is also an essential support that we make full use of. Finally, the Reporting tool, which tracks our metrics for Fill Rate and Forecast Accuracy, allows me to easily assess my team’s performance and provide coaching with a Live and Learn approach.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

Occasionally, there are minor glitches, but these are typically resolved through updates to the tool.

**What problems is Blue Ridge Global solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In today's Supply Chain world, we would have completly failed without Blue Ridge.  Maintenance with Lead Times, Vendors, Product Info and Forecasting!  B Ridge shares best practices.

I'm able to set parameters for vendors and items that help me attain high service levels and inventory turns.  I have a good amount of control.

It can be difficult to track down what is causing a high SOQ or an order not to build to bracket.  It can take some time to locate the root cause of an issue.

Overstock situations.  Out of stock situations.  DC issues at receiving.
The less fires I'm putting out or situations I'm explaining to a supervisor, the more time I have to do my job.

The cloud based platform is very convenient and makes collaboration efficient. The comprehensive educational material, training, Life Line assistance, and frequent updates is a confidence boost to all supply chain users from beginner to expert. A lot of the heavy duty statistical modeling, data analytics, and business intelligence reporting is accounted for to make the experience transferrable across a variety of industries.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

Blue Ridge like all other supply chain tools is not the catch all solution, and no tool will ever be, but it can improve on updates to provide more nuanced industry application. It is not a robust enough tool to drive S&OP and long-term strategic planning. Definitely the foundations are there, but for organizations that do not know where to start it would be difficult for Blue Ridge to drive that planning.

The data visualization component is a great tool to facilitate meetings with commercial teams who are less in the weeds with data. Blue Ridge is also teaching non-supply chain professionals terminology, methodology, and best practices which makes businesses more efficient and facilitates better collaboration for planning.

Blue Ridge's exception and alert based dashboard that helps identify potential risks and opportunities to improve.  The Analytics tool is exceptional and helps me set and track goals monthly for my buyers.  The Life-Line consultant piece was the deciding factor to select Blue Ridge.  The monthly meetings with management and buyers gives us a "consultants" view into our world and often identifies ways to improve.  Our implentation process with Blue Ridge and my companies IT support team was seemless while customer support is available and responds quickly.

Not much....but the analytical columns could auto shrink on reports.

Forecasting is as difficult as ever in our industry now.  we have a large amount of sku's for few buyers and Blue Ridge drives the world on our slower moving products.

Blue Ridge has a straight forward implementation roadmap.  The software is designed to be flexible with what data is required and how the data can be used.  Blue Ridge also puts together a straightforward easy to understand forecast and order suggestions that can be used multiple ways by the end users.  The ability to automate the integrations both ways and allow seamless ordering if the ERP allows is also an excellent feature for companies that have many orders that need to be processed daily.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

Blue Ridge is excellent in distribution settings - it doesn't perform as well in retial settings with complex item hierarchies and grouping needs (color/dimension/size)

As a selector and implementor of planning solutions Blue Ridge slots in very well as a tool to get fast accurate forecasts, daily ordering suggestions, and allows the S&OP process to plug in and be used with those processes.

The application considers many variables to determine the optimal way to replenish inventory and take the guesswork out of it for buyers.  It will reduce inventory safety stock while at the same time increasing service level.

For buyers unfamiliar with replenishment software, it can be a bit of a learning curve, but Blue Ridge provides excellent training and support resources.

Blue Ridge computes the optimal quantity and order cycle for thousands of SKUs across hundreds of vendors.  This reduces the amount of safety stock that is needed and frees up cash flow.  Because it right-sizes the safety stock across the board, customer service level will also be improved.

The current interface is a little slow at times. But I am encouraged by the upcoming Xpression demo, that we will see improved performance.

BlueRidge solves all of our current replnishment needs and I do not know how I would operate in my current role without it. To think about manually forecasting all of our needs again without the help of BlueRidge would be absolutely overwhelming.

Great functionality such as Mass Update WITH an "undo" button, Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimalization that actually works IRL and not just on ppt, superb forecasting methods automatically chosen based on demand pattern on SKU level

Currently without Plan-O-Gram integration, but I believe this may be included in one of the upcoming "free of charge" upgrades that automatically happens 1-3 times yearly.

User-friendly, but at the same time a very complex and sophisticated system. We experience a better overview and control when it comes to supply planning and stock management. Blue Ridge is also a reliable partner who provides close follow-up and good service.

Few negative things to mention.
We would like an API integration for the analysis system (SCA), which could potentially make it easier to share reports with the rest of the company.

The visual demand planning is highly useful for presentations and quicliy understading the data presented. the ability to forecast quickly and easily is useful for informing vendors or internal stakeholders. I am looking on the analytics side on a daily basis to see what is happening at a glance.

I do like the weekly and 4-weekly forecasts, it would be nice to build out a calendar month for data reporting.

Waiting for overnight processes to run in order to perform some of our ordering and other processes.

**What do you like best about Blue Ridge Global?**

I have used a few planning tools throughout my career and they all have strengths and weaknesses. The Blue Ridge SCP system is a good one. The dashboard alerts are a really helpful way to start your day with the most important tasks, especially within the purchasing function. However, what really helps our team is our regular LifeLine calls with Kathie and Jeff. They are helpful and knowledgable, which should be the prerequisite, but they are also eager to solve the problems we face. The desire to help us improve our day to day as well as provide us with reporting to improve inefficiencies is great.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

The biggest shortcoming to Blue Rdige is the lack of a functional projection report for my company. There is a projection view but the complexity of our business prevents it from working properly. If this tool was more flexible, it would be much more useful.

**What problems is Blue Ridge Global solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blue Ridge doesn't just spit out an order based on the forecast, it tries to optimize the logistical process start to finish, with an eye on saving their customers money. I can honestly say that we don't use all the functions possible to help ourselves but with the pieces we do use, the positive impact is great. From the due for service to the out of stock alerts to the OCO functionality to best coordinate ordering timing, Blue Ridge shows a customer the health of their business from a a forecast to inventory.
