For me as a user in a global software company, it was Blue Marble's ability to allow me to have one interface for all regions and countries. I was able to report in local currency, aggregate reporting or have it country specific. The fact that I can interface with ICP's in one, central interface was game changing! For me this would be more about the one partner in one of our countries, I think we can do better with the one particular provider. Reporting is not useful. You cannot see a pre-process register that shows the gross to net checks. No where can you find the employer liability for taxes. You must wait an entire day before you receive back your payroll reports, and these come via email, not the payroll system. If you find problems with the payroll you have run you then have to wait another day or two after you have made changes to see if it is then correct. If, not another 2 days, and on and on..... Just about everything.What you get is nothing like you are told during the sales process. BlueMarble is not a payroll processing company. All they do is process your payroll though their website with a third party processor. Why not go straight to the processor and save all the additional fees? All the reports are useless. All they show is the gross salary being paid. No taxes, employer or employee. No way to know cash needed. You have to wait until the next day to see if the payroll is correct as there are no real-time reports available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All information for all companies are housed in one system, including reporting capabilities. The process for submitting payroll and pulling reports is standard across our international entities and saves us time. Both the in-country service providers and Blue Marble employees are extremely responsive and helpful. It is helpful to be able to access both levels of service.
