# Turnaround Time?

I know this question may vary slightly by country, but on average, if you are doing a once a month payroll, by what date do you have to submit all your changes for everything to be processed on time? If I hired someone on the 20th of the month, would they easily get into that current month's payroll run or would they have to wait till the next month (or process an out of cycle payroll?)

Kylee,

Great question. It really depends on the country and the starter requirements and process. If a payroll process date is 25h, you can still add that employee for the end of month pay-date. Timing and process of funding that payroll has to be considered as well. Whenever we can, we'll help our clients do a gross to net on that employee so that employee is paid and we'll reconcile on the following payroll. Hopefully this answers your questions.
