What do you dislike about BigTime?

Update: Still rolling with the punches but dissatisfaction is growing. More and more the things we should be able to do are add ons or simply not possible at all with the software. While some of the help features have improved, I don’t think it is enough to justify using the software longterm. What's holding us back is migration and what that may look like. It appears that additional staff will be needed along with duplication of entries to ensure that nothing is lost. Frankly, do very deep research before you commit to the software. What do you like best about BigTime?

What do you like best about BigTime?

I like that BigTime remembers the projects I've recently charged to, so switching between them is quick and easy.

The running weekly total is also really useful because I can instantly see whether I'm on track to hit my hours. I

also appreciate that the interface isn't overloaded with features I don't need. It stays simple, fast, and makes

What do you like best about BigTime?

BigTime has made a noticeable difference in several areas. Invoicing is much easier to manage, and time tracking has become simpler for the team, which also makes running payroll smoother. Project management has improved with better analytics, giving more visibility into performance. I also find the AI chatbot useful - it often helps me quickly find the right settings or configurations without needing to dig around too much. What do you dislike about BigTime?

The rollout could have been smoother, especially in the early stages. It would have been helpful to have employees tracking time sooner to identify potential issues earlier. The interface could also be more user-friendly in some areas, as there is quite a bit of back-and-forth clicking and some actions feel less intuitive than they should be. Additionally, some of the help videos are still based on the old UI, which makes it harder to follow along when trying to make changes in the current version. What do you like best about BigTime?

BigTime offers a very structured and intuitive approach to time tracking, which makes logging hours

straightforward and efficient. The way Projects, Tasks, and Categories are organized provides clear visibility into

how time is allocated. Using Projects as client names also simplifies tracking and keeps everything well organized.

The Task Dashboard is especially useful, giving a clear view of task status across different stages. I also find the

Analytics section valuable, particularly the Timesheet Details and Expense Sheet reports, which make it easy to

review and analyze data for any period. Overall, the ease of use, strong reporting capabilities, and depth of

I like the simple design of the platform, especially when it comes to entering time. Everything is easy to find and

clearly visible, which makes the process quick and straightforward. It doesn’t feel complicated, and that helps a

The expense upload process could be simpler, as there are quite a few categories that need to be filled out and

they’re not always clear. I’ve also noticed that if you forget to select a location when entering time and try to save,

the system can delete the entire entry, which means having to retype everything. Small improvements in these

What do you like best about BigTime?

I like that my time entry lines carry over from week to week since many of my tasks are recurring. It saves time

and makes entering hours much faster. The notifications when entries are rejected are also helpful because I

know exactly what needs to be updated. I also like how weekly hours are displayed, making it easy to review

What do you like best about BigTime?

I like how straightforward it is to use, especially for tracking time against specific deliverables. Being able to organize work by engagements makes it much easier to stay accurate and structured.

Running detailed timesheets each month as backup for invoicing is also very helpful.

What do you like best about BigTime?

I love how BigTime stores previous records, so I can always go back whenever I need to look at a recent project I've done. I also love the fact that I can run reports, like how many hours I've billed towards a project, by setting dates from one period to another to track my hours. It takes the legwork out of tracking hours over multiple periods and lets me easily run a report that gives me exactly how many hours I've used towards a project and what I did, which is really helpful when I need to reference a certain project. The setup was fairly easy, and the tutorial was very clear, allowing me to use it without any issues. I would rate it a 10 out of 10 because it's a simple to use, easy system, especially helpful for consultants logging time and storing information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I think the mobile app can be a lot better. I prefer the desktop version because it's more clear and concise, but the app could be a little bit better. I just wish the entry and time could just be a little bit better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
