"Useful Client Snapshots, but Outdated Look and Difficult Navigation"
2.5/5
What do you like best about BenefitPoint?

Having all client information in one file or a single access location is helpful. In addition, being able to see a brief snapshot of the client and the related account details right on the front is valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?

It feels a bit outdated in terms of look and overall feel. Navigation can be challenging when trying to find information or update details, and the general navigation across the system and platform can be difficult at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Client Info Management, Needs Streamlined Account Summary"
4/5
What do you like best about BenefitPoint?

I use BenefitPoint for organizing employee benefit clients and I really appreciate how it keeps all my client information in one spot, making it easily organized and findable. I like the ease of finding things and how easy it is to store information in there. Also, being able to pull a quick report of all my clients, their plans, and renewal dates is really handy. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, I enjoy using this program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?

Sometimes I feel as if trying to find things under the account summary could be easier. The account summary could just be one page to edit, versus having to go into different drop downs for address, plan ID, SIC, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Benefits Management with Room for UI Improvements"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BenefitPoint?

I like having centralized client information with BenefitPoint, which helps manage everything from client and contact info to benefit plans, carrier details, and important documents. The renewal and plan management features are particularly helpful. I also value being able to collaborate consistently with my team through the platform. Additionally, I appreciate the reporting and data insights, as BenefitPoint makes it easy to access reports on plans, carriers, renewals, and client data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?

A suggestion for improvement would be a more modern and intuitive interface. While BenefitPoint is powerful and stores a significant amount of data, I feel that navigation can be cumbersome and that common tasks require too many clicks. Simplifying workflows, improving search functionality, and providing more customizable dashboards could help me access information faster and improve overall efficiency. Improving the search functionality so users can find clients, plans, contacts, and documents without navigating through multiple screens, expanding automation capabilities for renewals, data updates, reminders, and workflows to reduce manual work, and enhancing integrations with enrollment platforms, HRIS systems, carrier portals, and CRM tools to reduce duplicate data entry. "Consistent, Standardized Interface Makes Everything Easier to Navigate"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BenefitPoint?

The standardized look across the platform makes the experience easier, since I can view everything in a consistent way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?

I wish there was a spot to put helpful notes on the main page for the group. Limited to only a small description. This way we can put helpful notes that get lost when they are in the activity log. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to have all client information in one central location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"BenefitPoint Advocate"
5/5
What do you like best about BenefitPoint?

BenefitPoint has been a perfect tool helping me and my team manage our benefit's administration on a daily basis. I have been a part of multiple demos with other competitors, and this system's capabilities far outweigh the others. It is important to me to be able to manage our clients and track commissions and revenue in one system, as well as integrate with other workplace solutions. It is an easy system to implement and use and helps us maintain a smooth workflow. On the rare occasion we have an issue, they have a great support team that is able to get it resolved efficiently and timely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?

The only downside is that we do not hit all of the markers to be able to utilize the benchmarking. That is more on us than the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Benefit Point’s Customization Makes It Our Central Source of Information"
5/5
What do you like best about BenefitPoint?

I love the customization of Benefit Point. Our team has taken some time recently to iron out exactly what fields we would like to add that are not standard fields, and those additional data points are making it easier to make BP our central source of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?

So far we love it, but if I had to pick something... I would say I wish every field was customizable. It's 90% customizable to our liking, but there are some additional things we would like to accompany with the standard fields and a different order we would put some questions in. "BenefitPoint Centralizes Benefits Tracking, but navigation needs more improvement"
3/5
What do you like best about BenefitPoint?

I like BenefitPoint because it helps manage benefits information in one place. It makes it easier to track clients, plans, and workflows. I use the Account and Policy module regularly to validate the servicers assigned for these two areas, it helps me ensure only active employees are assigned as servicers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?

Navigation around the Policies/Accounts section and the assigned servicers is really not very intuitive, and it gets confusing to coordinate with peers and onboarding new colleague to get hands-on in my team. It's performance can be made faster in terms of response time and loading screen time. Also, if it can be integrated with the employee Active directory to highlight employees who are marked as inactive it will be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Benefit Point Needs Better File Organization, Search, and ability to manipulate dashboard."
2.5/5
What do you like best about BenefitPoint?

It is helpful in having a quick overview of group policy information as well as group contacts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?

There are unfortunately a lot of things I don't like about Benefit Point. It seems there are frequently communication error between BP and AMS 360. The file system is almost non-existent. Well it is non-existent actually. It is just a big bucket of files that you have to try to track down in hopes it fit into one of the limited categories allowed. I keep almost all my files outside of BP so they are easier to find. The search options are limited. Why would I not be able to search by a carrier name? So many times I have needed to look and see what other companies use a particular carrier and not been able to look it up. Also, we need to be able to manipulate the fields on the dashboard to fit our team structure. The notes are not intuitive. you have to go digging for them and so no one keeps them updated. There needs to be a place to keep multiple bits of information such as multiple divisions within a group and document things like that divisions pay frequency, or if the work under a different FEIN, or are located in another state, etc. On the benefit plans, I do appreciate the SBC reader, but it needs to be better about scrubbing the information from the SBC or Summary. Much of the time it just adds paragraphs of information to a cell rather than the specifics. I frequently think I wish we still had the Brokerage Builder platform we used years ago.
