**What do you like best about Bectran?**

What I like best about Bectran is how transformative it has been for our business. It’s genuinely one of the best software solutions we’ve implemented. The platform provides the most comprehensive and reliable credit analysis tools we’ve used, handling both business and personal credit checks with impressive accuracy and speed.
Their support team is another major highlight—responsive, knowledgeable, and consistently helpful. Any time we’ve had a question or needed guidance, they’ve been quick to step in and ensure we’re getting the most out of the system.
Overall, Bectran has streamlined our credit processes, improved decision-making, and delivered real value across our operations.

**What do you dislike about Bectran?**

Honestly, there isn’t anything I can think of that I dislike about Bectran. The system has performed extremely well for our needs, and any questions or small issues that have come up were quickly addressed by their support team. Overall, it has been a very positive experience with no notable drawbacks to mention.

**What problems is Bectran solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bectran is solving several key challenges in our credit application and review process.
Most online credit software platforms only support either business credit checks or individual credit checks—rarely both. Bectran handles both seamlessly, which eliminates the need for multiple systems and streamlines our workflow.
Another major benefit is Bectran’s AI-powered scanning of paper credit applications. This has significantly reduced manual data entry, helped eliminate errors, and allowed us to process applications faster and more accurately. What used to require manual review and retyping is now handled automatically, freeing our team to focus on higher‑value tasks.
Overall, Bectran improves our efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time, making the entire credit evaluation process faster and more reliable.

  ### 2. Streamlined, Self-Serve Applications—But Repeat Applicants Are Hard to Spot

**What do you like best about Bectran?**

The ability collect customer applications that is all encompassing - We collect all information we need, can send out requests for things to the customer, and the customer has the ability to complete requests and things themselves. This has really help streamline the process and makes it more hands on/user driven vs us having to send out those requests. We also have the ability to pull secretary of state reports and credit reports  directly from Bectran, which eliminates the need to go on the internet to pull a report, save it, and then attach it to the application.

**What do you dislike about Bectran?**

Bectran accepts each application on its own from the customer, but nothing is built in to notify us if that customer has previously completed an application before. You can search by an email address to see if that same email was used to complete previous application. The customer can also login to Bectran and view applications they completed. It would be beneficial if there was a 3rd internal function that grouped applications together that were completed by the same business owner based on their name. It would make it much easier locate applications that belong to the same individual as sometimes business owners will use different business emails for each business location. Then a notification banner could be used to notify the individual reviewing the application of the previous REQ#'s that also belong to this customer.

**What problems is Bectran solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bectran is always listening to our suggestions and requests for improvement. The Bectran team provided a solution to going to the secretary of state website to verify businesses by building in a report function right within Bectran that would pull the info. They have also provided other options like a fraud detection report and ACH verification to help protect our company.

**What do you like best about Bectran?**

The customer service has been excellent. Bectran has been very willing to work with us to tailor the application, so it fits our credit process. Additionally, they have been able to help streamline our process and improve our response time by providing one platform to gather and review consistent credit information.

**What do you dislike about Bectran?**

The administrative controls can feel clunky at times. Not all change requests can be made because of the "first page" controls, which can result in unwanted terminology remaining in place. The reports also feel canned and don’t offer enough flexibility.  Customer's complain that don't receive d email requests generated from bectran. Needs to allow customers to set their own passwords.

**What problems is Bectran solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with consistency and security in our paper application process. Bectran gives us a single point of storage, adds security through online protocols, and improves consistency in the information provided on applications.

**What do you like best about Bectran?**

Bectran has proven to be a highly valuable platform for modernizing the customer account application approval process and improving the quality and efficiency of credit analysis.  The online application is particularly effective in streamlining what has traditionally been a manual and fragmented process.  Their platform improves efficiency, supports data-driven credit decisions, and creates better collaboration between credit and sales, delivering significant operational value.

**What do you dislike about Bectran?**

One area where improvement could be made is around system administration and technical coordination.  Because Bectran integrates with email domains, ERP systems, and security settings, changes to IT policies or infrastructure can occasionally disrupt automated communications if they are not closely coordinated between the teams to ensure processes continue to run smoothly.

**What problems is Bectran solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bectran solves several challenges that traditionally make the application approval process slow and inconsistent.  Before implementing Bectran, collecting applications, financial statements, trade and bank references, and third-party data was a manual process involving emails, paper forms, and multiple follow-ups to obtain missing information.  This created delays in credit decisions.  The Bectran platform centralizes the entire process and creates efficiency through automation and workflow.  Instead of pulling information from multiple systems, our team can review the key data points in one place.  Their tools help consolidate third-party credit data and internal information into one interface, which makes it easier to evaluate risk and make consistent decisions.

**What do you like best about Bectran?**

The customer service aspect is top notch.

**What do you dislike about Bectran?**

As a director I have to pull reporting on a weekly basis to monitor production at an account level and at an employee level and the reporting can be a bit manual to manipulate to get what I need.

**What problems is Bectran solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More customization to the look of the credit application based on our company logo, additional security for fraud prevention and easier access for customers signing back into their account.

**What do you like best about Bectran?**

I appreciated how flexible the implementation team was in working with us and listening to our concerns and helping address those issues with future enhancements.  I appreciate how quickly they have integrated some of these issues as enhancements into the product after listening to our feedback.

**What do you dislike about Bectran?**

There were times that some requests were not as promptly addressed as we liked, especially for issues that impacted our customers.

**What problems is Bectran solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have helped us solve and update our parameters to allow for either a fax or email credit reference response versus just one or the other.  they are working on enhancement to allow our credit users to bundle all credit documents instead of just a few different types of documents.  Also, they have added an enhancement to allow for better Credit Reporting service match rate with integrating the tax ID with Dunn and Bradstreet reporting.

I wish it could link accounts together but still have the ability to have them under separate account #'s.

Bank verification through Plaid. I like that when a customer completes it online, it doesn’t have to be done manually. It’s usually already there when the account comes in, and the customer is prequalified.

Don't really have a dislike for Bectran.

Verifying Federal ID #'s is a plus.

It is allowing me not to spend too much time helping potential customers navigate the credit applications. It also helps me keep track of the customers I send applications to with the reports page.

**What do you like best about Bectran?**

The tool greatly helps in the function of the business. The system witnessed a very transformation of industry. We have seen the effecicty in getting things done by this.  Smooth application in process.

**What do you dislike about Bectran?**

There is no dislike as such. We are in the process of exploring the application broadly. There is a smooth process overall. The application is excellent; otherwise good to use.

Credit management has become very quick. We have a track of all our credit flows. The platform enables us to be an excellent fit for all credit-related work.....
