**What do you like best about Beauhurst?**

It is very intuitive to use and contains a lot of statistics and useful insights which makes my job a lot easier. Primarily, I use the platform to try and find companies which are not currently in our company CRM and then I reach out to them via LinkedIn and other platforms. Beauhurst makes this easy to do as I can produce very filtered searches and I have daily alerts set up for specific changes within an organisations. This includes a change of C-Level, funding, news etc.

**What do you dislike about Beauhurst?**

The only thing that I thought could be improved is the use of AI, but this has recently been integrated by the Beauhurst team. The use of AI when searching for companies makes life a lot easier and I know that this is something the team has recently introduced and will be further developed soon.

**What problems is Beauhurst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, in my role as a Senior Sales Development Executive, I need to search for new companies and find interest in adopting SAP as a software provider. Beauhurst is helping me find new companies which are not in our current CRM, via filtered searches, and then I can contact these organisations via LinkedIn or other platforms.

**What do you like best about Beauhurst?**

The sheer range of data is very useful. For a fund such as ourselves to hae access to all of this in one place is invaluable. 

Sophie (our account manager) is great. She always has suggestions on tips and tricks we can use to improve how we use Beauhurst, and also very patient when we ask silly questions/or the same question over and again.

**What do you dislike about Beauhurst?**

I think the searches can be quite convuluted if you don't have an account manager showing you how to use them. Once someone demonstrates, it makes a lot more sense but I think approaching it solo would be tricky.

**What problems is Beauhurst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Investor outreach is obviously at the top of everyone's mind and as an EIS firm it's crucial to our growth as a company. Beauhurst is a great way of reaching out to HNWI's.

**What do you like best about Beauhurst?**

I like how easy the platform is to access and use. So far, I have largely used the collections function to help me understand the business ecosystem in Lancashire to look at the number of start-ups, closures and types of businesses by IS8 industries according to the government. I can also understand the types of businesses which exist in Lancashire - their stage of evolution where available and their financial performance too. I use the platform to set-up weekly alerts on these items and also use it to inform requests I get from colleagues to do with particular industries. I find the customer support teams extremely helpful - nothing seems to be too much of a challenge for them and they approach my questions with curiosity and professionalism in timely manner. I have regular catch-ups with our client experience manager Mariella who is helpful in ensuring that make the most of the platform itself.

**What do you dislike about Beauhurst?**

I don't think there is much to dislike at all with Beauhurst. The team are receptive to ideas and feedback which I have provided so far to help expand the functionality of the platform further.

**What problems is Beauhurst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to understand the ecosystem in Lancashire - business births, business deaths, signs of growth and decline, understand the stages of evolution, the financial performance, the distribution of industries. It is a wide ranging platform with lots to offer.

I really love the customer experience provided by beauhurst, theres always a real person to talk to and guide you through beauhurst e.g. Joash, Mariella and 

We also have a dedicated account manager Nour, who does bi monthly meetings and answers any questions we have whenever we have them, which is sooooo helpful, especially when the platform is detailed with business data.

Nour has been monumental in providing excellent results for our service delivery - without him, to be honest i wouldnt be using beauhurst as much

Sometimes the data isn't always accurate, especially around the industries of businesses - but they actively work on this and fix it straight away whenever an issue is spotted

The number of filters available in searches. We use it on a regular basis with saved searches and collectios to allow us to easily access growing companies.

The number of filters is both an advantage and disadvantage at times as new starters can find the platform overwhelming if they don't have guidance. However Josie has been great at assisting us and guiding us to find what we need.

We really like the depth and quality of data on the UK's high-growth private company ecosystem. The platform’s intelligent search filters paired with great support from Beth and the team make it an invaluable tool for creating data-driven reports and generating actionable insights.

The primary downsides of Beauhurst are its high cost, limited international coverage outside of the UK, and occasional data inconsistencies.

I've trialled a number of business intelligence tools and Beauhurst has the best company search function by far that I've come across so far.
Customer support is also fantastic. The account managers are very proactive and go out of their way to help.

The filters for narrowing down companies is very intelligent and beyond standard search parameters, specific funding round, buzzwords, company is similiar to. etc all of these filters seem unique to beauhurst and extremely useful

**What do you dislike about Beauhurst?**

It would be easier if you could see a history of what you have exported yourself on the tool rather than having to create collections to keep track. collections also automatically add companies matching your criteria if you are not careful and disable that. So its easy to make a tracking collection and then have it lost with a bunch of new companies. Also tagging companies manually to let other colleagues know is quite manual. If that was automated the platform would be solid.

The ability to build out collections, groups of companies that meet certain conditions, with support from an account management team sets BH apart from other competitors. The AM team have a wealth of knoweldge that extends beyond the BH platform itself and genuinely add value to the conversation and challenge your sales and marketing operations.

It is quite pricey for a start-up business. It would be a helpful packaging exercise for BH to provide some depth of business intelligence for a lower ticket price and also to consider more flexible subscription options.

Beauhurst has been a great tool for our business allowing us to enrich our current data, as well as provide new leads. 
I had an introductory call with Sophie Curtis who was exceptional. Showing great knowledge, providing useful insights whilst also showing passion and charisma. She was a key part of the process, making sure we get the most of out the tool. She also went above and beyond putting in extra leg work to make sure we had a smooth experience. She’s a superstar.

Would definitely recommend this platform.

No real cons in my opinion. Would like to see International companies in the future.

Useful data analytics to support our startups. The customer support is excellent. I regularly meet with my account manager and learn new functionalities every time. Very personalised and friendly.

For the moment, our data set is restricted to the United Kingdom. It would be even more useful to have access to data worldwide. Also, the user experience in the search funtion could be made more accessible and easy to navigate.

Beauhurst is a comprehensive platform for company data. It is easy to use and there is an excellent team providing customer support. There are numerous features to the product which are easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Beauhurst?**

The system is limited by the data it can provide, so there are numerous missing factors in the data for some of the businesses. This is aften down to a lack of data regarding  account fillings and so forth. It would be good for Beauhurst to find ways to generate better indicators of innovation and R&D activity, if that was possible.

Nothing. The platform is completely below par and delivers no value for a rather hefty fee.

**What do you dislike about Beauhurst?**

BEWARE of Beauhurst.

They’re a complete waste of money and I would not suggest working with them. 

We tried using the system and put quite a lot of effort into trying to generate new business from the platform. Despite hours and hours of time, we saw no returns, no meetings, nothing. Yet, when we approached their team about canceling the contract, the minimum term of the contract (1 year) was slammed in our faces.

They use the minimum term to keep clients when they know their platform is FAR below average and delivers terrible results.

Working with them is a massive mistake and I would warn any company to avoid doing so or to do so at their own peril.

DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!

The coverage is great, as is the support you get from the team. The price is also very competetive.

As a global fund, the platforms sole focus on the UK means we have to have multiple subscriptions, which is frustrating.
