It's a web-based banner creating platform which is very convenient because at any time if there's internet you can freely access this platform. The ease of making a high quality ad quickly, in house, without having to pay an outside agency to design a set of creative for me. Anyone on my team can use it with minimal training. It is easy to upload my own pictures and use the stock images provided. The Call to action buttons are amazing too. I am not good at designing those and this helps me a lot. Sometimes it is easier to make one ad of each size than to make the set of ads, because you have to edit each ad in the set individually. I also wish there were more clip art images to be animated, like a lightning bolt or door opening. That would add some action and another layer of professionalism to my designs. - that we can't import video in bannersets - that we can't make the same edits to different slides by selecting both and then moving assets around - That when we apply animation to a banner in a banner set, it doesn't automatically apply to all the banners - Sometimes certain fonts we upload work in preview but export as a completely different font. - It would be great if we could export moving gifs as a set, rather than one by one. - a bigger color library allowance would be nice as we work on many brands, and would like to be able to save these colors on the program, but there seems to be a limit. I love the ease of use! You can jump right into Bannersnack and easily understand how to use and build creatives in it. They also have a good variety of templates to choose from which is extremely helpful when you're just starting out and trying to figure out the basics. They have a huge variety of animations and customizability of those animations, which is perfect for how specific some of our customer requests are. You can't upload any video assets, there isn't any way to do bulk HTML5 creative (upload a sheet and have it populate in your content), and fallback images need to be edited if you have more than one set of copy on any animated HTML5 creative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was not able to create a lot of banners when I first started with the free version and almost didn't sign up for the paid version. If I didn't take that step I would have outsourced my needs to a designer which would have cost me a lot more $. But I'm glad I did move forward with Bannersnack! I love the fact that you can create a banner set and add elements to the entire set all at the same time. I also really appreciate the magic animator because it streamlines the process of simple animation and allows for a higher volume of output. I dislike the fact that there is not a method of using video or gif assets in the banners that I create on bannersnack. It is not something that I need often because most of the video work for social media can be completed in after effects or premiere but it would be nice to have the option in bannersnack to add more movement in my ads.
