We have a lending team of about 75 users and the overwhelming response/feedback I hear is how easy it is to use, even compared to other familiar software they have been using for years. Our loan origination workflow has improved across the board and document management works much better than what we had before. It's a smaller company, but the team we have worked during and beyond implementation are knowledgeable and can get tweaks, changes, custom work, enhancements done quickly. **What do you dislike about BankPoint?** The overall look and use of Bankpoint is very positive, but there are a few places where the ability to have some more customization available would be nice - an example would be having a little more control on layout of certain pages like loan info, etc. **What problems is BankPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our previous LOS was more disjointed, users had to move around to different pages to navigate through the workflow and it required more training and experience to know the ins and outs of the software. Bankpoint is much more straight-forward for users, departmental notifications or handoffs are more customized and work better, and document management is much simpler. ### 3. The onboarding process is completely streamlined, and all documents are consolidated, which makes it very convenient for auditors. Prospects can also send documents securely through their DocuPoint portal. It is easy to use, which is half the battle when it comes to technology. ### 5. The software is intuitive and easy to set up. The team at BankPoint is responsive and helpful. While working with them, their knowledge base has helped us refine our processes. We see BankPoint as a strategic partner rather than just another vendor. **What do you dislike about BankPoint?** I have difficulty in finding anything we don't like about BankPoint. When you bring up any features that are missing or could be improved, BankPoint is quick to respond and are receptive to ideas about the software. When they receive a request, they quickly 1) show us how we could accomplish the task through a capability that already exists in the system or 2) find out if changes are feasible. BankPoint will not solve for every want, but they value your opinion and take it into account when developing the software further. **Recommendations to others considering BankPoint:** Consider BankPoint as a part of your vendor management search for loan origination workflow software. You won't be disappointed. **What problems is BankPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** BankPoint has cut down our reliance on spreadsheets to handle workflow and pipeline reporting. Additionally, in going through a core conversion, BankPoint was critical to our success for getting month end reporting right. When using Bank Point for risk rating changes I like that i can see the flow chart of approval. ### 12. Getting data, uploading, docs, notes, etc., is all very intuitive and easy to learn quickly. I primarily use BankPoint on the document side. Both to input all needed loan documents into its database. It also has a very nice Note section to keep track of calls, emails, or any miscellaneous notes that may be needed to keep track of discussions or borrower interactions. **What do you dislike about BankPoint?** My only dislike is occasionally, I will notice the loan history may not be in sync with our core system. But that tends to be minor related to an overnight process not running. Once run/updated it gets in sync again and works excellently. **What problems is BankPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking annual insurance, documents that we are waiting to be returned from counties, secretary of state, etc. is very simple to track. Also, built in reports can be used for new loans, past due loans, insurance expiring, and taxes due based on our tracking data. **Official Response from BankPoint Support:** > Thank you for your feedback! Document tracking has been a growing need we have heard from our users, so we have invested heavily in this area recently. We have more improvements that we plan to deliver in the coming months. We hear you on the issue you mentioned where BankPoint is occasionally out of sync with your core. Depending on the core system providing data to BankPoint, that is pretty rare but does happen from time to time. We typically find that those issues are due to delays in core reports being delivered to BankPoint. We will be exploring how we can make it more apparent when BankPoint is not up to date. ### 13. It's not entirely clear if a particular filetype or file size is the culprit for this repetive error. **What problems is BankPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pipeline tracking for loan requests which can be easily integrated with existing loans, tracked by management, and progress viewed by the requests' initiating users. **Official Response from BankPoint Support:** > Thanks for your comments! The people at BankPoint can manipulate the product to fit my needs as well. The onboarding process went fantastically. **What do you dislike about BankPoint?** I struggle to find any dislikes in the product. For all issues I have brought up, the company has pledged to fix/improve to solve my concerns. **What problems is BankPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** My mid-size bank was handling origination, problem loan, OREO, and Loan Review manually on excel files.
