The services they offer are more than enough for most users. Azure Media Player is pretty streamlined and functions well. Commands are simplified and equipped with automatic fallbacks to provide smooth operation and save time and frustration. My favorite function of Azure Media Player is how it automatically optimizes playback by choosing the best available format for each device. That solves potentially time-consuming issues before they even happen. It has HTML5 playback with Silverlight and Flash fallbacks which further optimizes its functionality and avoids snags in your streaming. Basic knowledge of HTML is quite enough to get started with Azure Media Player, which is great for people like me who don’t have a complete mastery of HTML, but more of a working familiarity. Overall, I’m pleased with it. I can’t think of any drawbacks or shortcomings. It’s well designed. **What do you dislike about Azure Media Player?** It’s a bit disappointing that you cannot get this software without already being an Azure Media Services customer. **What problems is Azure Media Player solving and how is that benefiting you?** The automatic sorting of media types to each device is beautiful! This really improves our efficiency and saves time. ### 6. The only problems I have run across was when media files were corrupted and unable to play that were insufficiently downloaded from the sender. **Recommendations to others considering Azure Media Player:** Azure Media Player is heading in the right direction that is why I would recommend this to others. Not only does it provide what they claim, they exceed more than their goals.
