It is secure by design and easy to set up through the portal, az CLI, ARM, or Bicep. The only thing I dislike about the Azure bastion is that with the native mode, you have to do it with PowerShell or az CLI and pass many parameters on the command. It ensures a secure connection to the VM, and I hold the parent company in high regard regarding security. It is easy to use & handle, which is another plus for me. Although they provide quick support in times of need, the cloud-based product lags at times, and whenever there is a drop, the reboot takes more time than necessary.
