Using azure archive storage, I have used cosmos and azure SQL databases to store different data types for our client in the retail chain. We have to keep a variety of data-related zone, stores, clients, payments etc., collected across the globe. Using cosmos and azure SQL, we can process these data very quickly, and even we have tools to visualize data in the database. I chose Microsoft Azure, and we use both types of databases, i.e., cosmos and Azure SQL DB, as per our complex needs. It gives us precisely that type of scalability we need for our daily growing customer base and their relevant data. As we know, the retail industry contains various software and tools which require proper and smooth integration to communicate with each other; the solution we get is Microsoft Azure.
