Axios HQ has made our internal communications process simpler and more manageable. Smart Brevity has seeped into our comms, even outside of Axios. The layout is super easy to read and the newsletter/email design has been seamless with Axios's template library.

The platform does lock you into a set template, which is mostly good, but sometimes you feel the restrictions. It's forced me to rethink presentation of some information, likely making it better to fit the template/format than what was originally planned. Any "dislikes" I have are pretty picky. Inability to re-target disengaged portion of the audience. Lack of options for follow-on engagement to increase effectiveness. It would be helpful if all of the stats and research that informs the layout/design/editorial preferences of Smart Brevity were in one place. I read the Smart Brevity book in hopes it would all be contained there but it's not. It is not as useful for external communications that we are starting to use it for such as promotional e-mails about an event that involve sponsors, I love the format of Axios NWA for that and would love to have that for our use case as well.
