As a service, unless it's completely obvious in other resources, it might be hard to find what exactly is being shared. This feature saves my team and me a lot of effort, time, and money every day. Without this, we would have to provision multiple resources and keep every single one of them updated which obviously would have been a painstaking process. But thankfully, RAM saves our time and effort by letting us provision resources only once regardless of how many of us need those resources, and not to mention that keeping them updated is one thing we very much used to worry about but not anymore. And the feature to set IAM roles and permissions allows us to give access to the different users who will be accessing them, based on the nature of work they do, thereby decreasing unintended changes and the associated charges. Resources shared among users also mean considerably fewer resources which in turn saves us a lot of money. **What do you dislike about AWS Resource Access Manager (RAM)?** I have not found any disliked feature, possibly because there isn't one. However, I would like to add that, like most other features in AWS, RAM also has a cryptic interface that would take a while to understand and get acquainted with. **What problems is AWS Resource Access Manager (RAM) solving and how is that benefiting you?** My team would not have to provision resources multiple times now because they have created a single common resource that is shared among them. A common resource means we don't need to pay considerably more for using the same services again and again. We would also not have to worry about keeping everything in sync because now it is not required.
