Instead of chasing emails and multiple Excel files, everything stays in one place. Comparing suppliers becomes easier and more transparent, and it really helps during internal reviews and audits. Once you get used to the system, it reduces follow-ups and saves time on repetitive co-ordination. **What do you dislike about AVL Concerto?** The main downside is the initial learning curve and rigidity of the workflows. For first-time users, the system feels complex and tasks take longer than expected. Some actions require multiple steps, and for urgent or non-standard sourcing cases, the process can feel less flexible compared to quick Excel or email-based coordination **What problems is AVL Concerto solving and how is that benefiting you?** AVL Concerto solves the problem of unstructured sourcing and scattered information. Earlier, RFQs, supplier quotes, and clarifications were spread across emails and Excel files, which made comparison slow and error-prone. With Concerto, all supplier data is centralized and comparable in one format. This improves transparency, reduces back-and-forth with suppliers, and helps me make faster, more objective sourcing decisions, especially during audits and internal reviews. ### 2. This i feel is not flexible. **What problems is AVL Concerto solving and how is that benefiting you?** I carry out analysis for engine real time data using AVL Concerto. From visualising speed to looking after ignition parameters at a minute level, is my everyday job. Major benefits include 1. Producing desired outputs by carrying out complex calculations in calculator 2. Making Cal-Graphs to produce variables by joining/comparing direct measured variables 3. Saving of template in use and ease of opening it again, when required ### 4. Good tool for analytics. It is easily integratable with other data tools in the AVL suite. Multi screen view of curves was very useful for my team to analyse the engine and motor running parameters. The multi color visualization is also very intuitive. **What do you dislike about AVL Concerto?** 1. Data loading is difficult in cocerto as compared to other data visualization tools such as tableau. 2. It take a large amount of time to process data as compared to competitors 3. The interface is very clustered and not user friendly. **Recommendations to others considering AVL Concerto:** Concerto is a great tool, but also take a look at the industry competitors to make a wiser decision. **What problems is AVL Concerto solving and how is that benefiting you?** Analysing engine and electric machine performance on real world driving conditions. ### 5. Also, helpful in organizing large amounts of data in a readable form. **What do you dislike about AVL Concerto?** Doesn't have a user-friendly interface to coordinate with other data processing software like MATLAB. **What problems is AVL Concerto solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am a PhD student working on advanced IC engines. AVL Concerto helps me with processing data collected from engine testing and process and analyze in an organized manner.
