What do you dislike about Astrill VPN?

Considering the price of most personal VPN services, Astrill VPN does tip the higher end of the scale. Moreover, if you're planning to use this VPN service on your phone and laptop simultaneously, you're out of luck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Astrill VPN solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ever since I started using this VPN, with its top-notch "Stealth Mode" feature, I've felt a whole lot safer online, especially when I'm grabbing a coffee and hopping onto public Wi-Fi.

Its encryption is like having a personal shield, keeping my info safe from prying eyes. Now, I can chill and work online without that nagging fear of someone snooping around my data. It's been a real peace-of-mind booster for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Astrill VPN?

Astrill is super easy to install, that's a big plus. I was actually impressed by the ease of installation and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Astrill VPN?

However, astrill does not make the grade as far as a couple of things go. It doesn't bypass country level firewalls in hostile places very well, it is not super fast, and the number of servers leaves something to be desired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Astrill VPN:

If just want anonymization in western countries, fine. Astrill is ok. The pricing & ease-of-use is great. If you travel to locations that have hostile network policies in place, try something else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Astrill VPN solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have evaluated Astrill and used it for a while, however, it doesn't leave me thinking it's the best possible solution. I do like the installation and ease of use, but using a vpn is far more comprehensive than just getting it to run. Other things need to be done with it, such as ensuring leak-proof DNS queries, having multiple global locations to attach to, etc. It is fine as a middle-of-the-road solution, it just doesn't blow me away with its capabilities.
