**What do you like best about Artlist?**
What I like most about Artlist is that it makes my day-to-day video work much easier. Whenever I’m stuck looking for the right music or sound effect, I can usually find something that works without spending too much time searching. I also like that the library feels more curated, so I’m not constantly going through hundreds of low-quality options.
**What do you dislike about Artlist?**
The main thing I dislike is that sometimes it takes a while to find something that fits exactly what I have in mind, especially when I’m looking for a very specific style or mood. The library is huge, which is great, but it can also make the search feel a little overwhelming. I also wish some of the filters were a bit more precise.
**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**
Artlist saves me a lot of time when I’m putting together videos. Instead of spending an hour searching for music or sound effects on different sites, I can usually find what I need in one place. It also helps me finish projects faster because I’m not constantly worrying about whether I can legally use an asset. For me, the biggest benefit is having more time to focus on editing and making the video itself better.

**What do you like best about Artlist?**
What I like best is that the license actually covers everything I need without me having to think about it. I work on client videos that end up on YouTube, Instagram and sometimes in paid ads, and with Artlist I've never had a copyright claim or had to go back and re-clear a track.
**What do you dislike about Artlist?**
The search could be smarter. Filtering by mood and genre works fine, but when I have a specific feel in mind I often end up clicking through twenty tracks before finding something close. The price also jumped compared to when I first signed up, and if you only need music, you still pay for the footage side you may never touch.
**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**
It solves the licensing headache first. Before Artlist I was clearing tracks one by one and keeping a spreadsheet of what could go in an ad and what couldn't. Now I download and use it, and that anxiety is gone.
Day to day it also saves time. The interface is clean enough that I can browse and preview without a tutorial, the plugin for Premiere lets me drop a track straight onto the timeline instead of exporting and reimporting, and downloads are fast even on the bigger WAV files. The AI suggestions that surface similar tracks are decent for finding an alternative when the client rejects my first pick. Onboarding took me about ten minutes and I've only needed support once, for a billing question that got answered the next day.

Easy to use and very beginner-friendly. It also offers a huge repository of video footage, along with a solid selection of music to choose from.
**What do you dislike about Artlist?**
When I use the voiceover feature, there are only a few voice styles to choose from. Also, adding cadence and speech inflections is a little tricky. It would be great if there were a code or simple way to include pauses or exclamations in the voice without relying on trial and error that costs tokens.
**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**
As a small company without a production budget, Artlist is vital to our ability to create videos for ads, social media, internal demos, and more. It gives us a practical way to produce high-quality videos and stay on par with our competitors. The AI video generation features let us prompt it with our ideas and, after a few tries, it generates almost exactly what we need.

With Artlist, it’s very easy to find high-quality music and a strong range of creative assets for multiple projects. The library is extensive, and the editing and formatting options are helpful when tailoring assets to what you need. Overall, it supports professional-quality content for our marketing creatives. On top of that, the platform is straightforward to navigate and simple to use. The AI features and outputs generated after prompting is also good quality. The UI/UX is also very user-friendly.

It may take a while to search for the exact track or asset as their library is very extensive and some search results seem repetitive.

**What do you like best about Artlist?**
Easy to use, and it solves the long-running problem of dealing with copyright when you want nice music in the background of your content. It gives you plenty of options—not just royalty-free AI-generated music, but also sound effects and other extras that work really well for UGC on social media.
**What do you dislike about Artlist?**
The pricing feels pretty high, and the credit system is also kind of annoying. The search and filtering could use some improvement as well; at times it gets tedious having to sift through every option that’s included in every plan.

**What do you like best about Artlist?**
I love Artlist for its ease of usage and how organized everything is. It is very nice and there’s an AI toolkit where I can give a reference image and description, and it generates data for me. I also enjoy the vast variety of content that’s available, making it easy to find exactly what I need quickly. The filters are very intuitive, and the content quality is so good that I don’t want to look elsewhere. I also appreciate that I could explore it without needing to enter my email ID, though I did eventually create a login.
**What do you dislike about Artlist?**
I'm still in the exploring phase, so I don't know fully what works versus what doesn't. I'm using the free version, not the paid one. The paid version might be a bit extra for some people, but since I'm on the free version, I can't say for sure. I did mention that it would be great if the discoverability on Google search was easier. If it appeared more prominently when searching for content, that would be really helpful.

**What do you like best about Artlist?**
What I value most is the peace of mind around licensing. As an eCommerce Manager at a D2C footwear brand, we publish a high volume of video content every month—mainly paid social ads on Meta and Instagram, plus organic content—across several international markets. With Artlist, I don’t have to double-check rights track by track or worry about claims or takedowns while a campaign is live. The commercial license covers our use cases, so the team can move quickly and stay focused on execution.
The catalog is another major plus. The music quality is consistently high and feels modern, with far less of that “stock-sounding” vibe you get from other libraries. For a fashion brand, that matters a lot, because the mood of the video is part of the product. The filters for mood, genre, tempo, and length make it easy to find something that fits a 15-second Reel or a longer brand piece, and the stems and alternative versions make it much easier to edit cleanly to the cut.
Lastly, having music, SFX, and footage under one subscription simplifies both our workflow and our budget. It means one tool and one invoice, and it also works well for the external creators and agencies we collaborate with.

The search could be smarter. With such a big catalog, it sometimes takes a while to find the right track, and similar songs tend to repeat in the results. I'd also like more flexible pricing for teams, like adding extra seats for freelancers or agencies without upgrading the whole plan.

It solves music licensing for commercial use. Before, finding tracks we could legally use in paid ads across different countries was slow and risky. Now we have one catalog with a clear license that covers ads, social and web, so we avoid copyright claims and blocked campaigns.

I really appreciate Artlist's easy-to-use commercial licensing, which is incredibly helpful in an agency setting. It's nice to have all-in-one AI tools available, although I'm currently using it mostly for audio projects. The generative audio and song alternative versions and stems are particularly valuable to me, and I also like the extensions like the connection to Adobe Premiere. The initial setup was very easy as well, which was a relief. Overall, Artlist makes grabbing royalty-free audio and videos a breeze for producing creatives, primarily for social media and ad platforms.

I signed up for Artlist.io because I wanted to properly test the platform and see if it would be a good fit. I paid for the $149 plan because I wanted the full experience, and I understood there was a 14-day refund window.
After using it, I found the platform difficult and frustrating to navigate, so I canceled only 3 days later.
During that short trial period, I downloaded a 5-second video clip because I thought that was part of how you were supposed to test and use the platform. I was not trying to exploit the service, build a project, or take advantage of their content. I was simply trying to understand how the platform worked.
Now Artlist is telling me that because I downloaded that tiny 5-second clip, my refund is void.
That feels incredibly misleading and unfair. If downloading even one small clip cancels your right to a refund, that should be made extremely clear before purchase and before downloading anything. A trial/refund window should allow a customer to actually evaluate the product. Otherwise, the refund policy feels more like a trap than a real customer-friendly guarantee.
I paid $149, canceled after only 3 days, and still was denied a refund over a 5-second download. That is not a good customer experience.

I appreciate Artlist for solving copyright infringement issues by providing music for commercial work. I like the UI features for sorting through different genres and the variety of music available in the stock library. One of the best AI video generation tools on the market. The AI implementation is very streamlined, and overall performance is strong across the board, although some renders can take a bit of time. Once you understand how to generate a consistent visual style, the process gets a lot easier, but that initial learning curve can be tricky.
Another thing I like about Artlist is that there are plenty of videos showing how to use it, so you don’t have to rely solely on company support. That said, there’s also some solid documentation on their website.

To be honest, in term of voice, it's still behind from Eleven labs, the quality of the voices are not as smooth as in Eleven labs nor I can play with the tones and emotions either to make them feel more real.

I subscribed to this AI video generation tool expecting a premium experience, but what I got was a frustrating and overpriced disappointment.
They explicitly advertise the “MAX” plan as offering unlimited access, but what they don’t tell you — until after you’ve paid — is that it includes no actual generation credits. That's right: you’re sold the idea of unlimited AI generation, but when you try to generate anything, you’re forced to buy credits separately. This is blatantly misleading marketing, and it feels intentionally deceptive.
To test things out, I looked into the “PRO” plan, which includes 120,000 credits. Sounds generous — until you find out that just one 20-second video (not even in HD) costs around 1,000 credits or more. That means your included credits disappear fast — and the results aren’t even that impressive for the price.
When I contacted support to request a refund after discovering how restricted and expensive everything actually was, they refused — even though I hadn’t used the MAX plan’s fake “unlimited” features. Their support team was dismissive and completely unhelpful, repeating refund policy lines without addressing the core issue.
To summarize:
The “MAX” plan does not include generation credits
They promote it as unlimited, but it’s not usable without buying extra credits
The credit consumption is steep, even for short, low-resolution clips

From my perspective, these guys are deliberately sneaky. I must have subscribed to their service for a project at one point, but because they never send a monthly invoice, I didn't realize that I was subscribed to them for over 2 years. My daughter is an artist and is always using my credit card to purchase art supplies so I evidently overlooked their monthly charge as some art supplies that my daughter purchased, but now I finally noticed the trend and confirmed that this isn't her's. I think these guys don't email an invoice like every other reputable online service so that they can fly under the radar and collect monthly subscription fees for way longer from people like me. But now that I realize they've collected over $500 from me over more than 2 years for a service that I never used (maybe I signed up for a "Free" trial at some point but I don't recognize the song their service shows I downloaded), I feel annoyed for not noticing that this was a subscription sooner, but I also think these guys deliberately never emailed me so as to not draw attention to the subscription. So now I feel frustrated and completely ripped off.

The "helpbot" is inadequately named as it is not helpful. I still have a claim and now instead, I'm editing all the audio in my video adding hours more to my work time.

Things started to go really wrong when we received a claim on Meta after using a song of the catalog.

A claim for a song we pay for ?!
We were making a video for a client, we had a release date schedule, and planned everything around it. As you all know editing a video takes time, takes money...
Once the edit finished, after posting the video we received a claim and the video got removed from social medias...
We wrote to Artlist, to the claim owner too, to the different social medias, did everything we could providing every pieces to proof we have the license and that we are paying for that. But....
They told us a first time to repost it, which we did, this time the video got removed right away and we received a warning.
No need to tell you that we and our client, doing the collaborative post saw a very remarkable fall on our engagement rate after this issue.
Yes, we did not lost only time and money, we lost engagement on our account, and our client too... Try to explain your client it is not your fault... Yeah ... Big problem for our business.
What now ? Hmmm it has been a month and half at least, and finally they got back to us again just telling us that this case can't be fixed, that they are very sorry but that they can't explain why. They can't solve the claim. A problem with the artist? Of what type ? We have no idea. All we know is that if we are picking artlist, it is to avoid this kind of problems. So... Is it worth it ?
Artlist made a very little offer to cover the damage, they offer us 4 months of an extra service we don't even need.
It is a big loss for us. And this is really bad to see how they value their clients.
