Here are a few examples: • Avoidable ER: The Emergency Room is a very expensive point of care for both patients and payers. Artemis shows the Emergency Room claims that could have been addressed at an urgent care center or with a primary care doctor. Benefits teams can intervene with employee education, a telemedicine program, and more. • Inefficient Rx: Prescription costs are skyrocketing, and rising prices hit patients hard. Employers can use Artemis to see which drugs on their plan are the most expensive, and substitute generic, lower cost options. • Better Benefits: Employers want to offer great benefits that attract talent. Before this tool, I was building every single benefits report manually in Excel, and that ate up so much of my working time. It comes with ready‑to‑use templates for tracking how our health plans get used, adoption rates, and long‑term usage trends, so I don’t need to build charts and metrics completely from scratch. I just upload our already‑anonymized benefit datasets, and I immediately get visual dashboards that show how our people are actually using these company benefits. I can quickly slice the data to compare different teams and departments, then export neat summaries to hand off to our HR leadership. What works really nicely is I can line up these hard usage numbers with the employee feedback we collect via Glow pulse surveys. I can check if what staff members complain about in surveys actually matches real‑world benefit usage. I remember one prior year without this tool: I spent multiple afternoons building pivot tables, only to mess up my filters and give our managers wrong usage numbers that delayed our internal meeting. We still strictly avoid uploading any raw employee personal information to stay compliant with German GDPR rules, but for our yearly benefits assessment, this specialized tool makes a huge practical difference. **What do you dislike about Artemis Health?** There are several pain points that pop up regularly when we run our annual benefits review. The biggest annoyance for our German team is the poor local‑language support. Most menu items, dashboard texts and alerts are only available in English. There is no proper German localization. During our last review, I exported a large CSV report, and all the German umlauts in our department names got completely messed up in the output file. I wasted almost two hours manually editing and fixing every corrupted entry before I could merge this file with our Glow survey feedback for leadership. That really pushed back our project timeline. On top of that, GDPR‑related features are almost non‑existent inside the platform. There are no built‑in functions to set automatic data retention rules, bulk‑anonymize records, or trigger quick data‑deletion workflows. If I accidentally leave behind indirect employee identifiers in a file, we face real compliance risks here in Germany. Another real headache is the lack of native connections to our survey tools. Everything has to move via manual import‑export, which opens the door for human error.
