We moved on from a tool that our organization had outgrown. Arena’s PLM tool capability will allow us to continue growing without the restrictions of a more basic tool. Having different spaces within the tool for items, requests, changes, suppliers, files, and so on means you know exactly where to look for the file or data you need, while also avoiding being overwhelmed by too many results. Arena has supported this well with training videos, but the platform still requires discipline and staying up to date with the training, as it isn’t always intuitive. We’ve also had the opportunity to customize certain processes and fields; however, there have been occasions when we haven’t been able to make the adjustments we requested. There's some friction in search and data retrieval if you don't know exactly how something is named or structured, finding the right item, document, or record can take longer than it should. And when I try to export some data, some of the units are missing in the exported Excel, like if there are some items starting with '0', those are exported without zero, and it is taking more time to export. Arena PLM & QMS helps us manage product data, engineering changes, and quality processes in a single, centralized platform, ensuring everyone works from the latest information. It has improved collaboration between our engineering teams, manufacturing partners, and suppliers while reducing errors caused by outdated documentation. The platform's traceability and structured workflows have shortened engineering change cycles, reduced costly manufacturing mistakes, and improved compliance. We're glad you find our centralized platform useful for collaboration, traceability, and streamlining change processes. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the UI, integrations, and AI features. We hope that with the release of Arena Connect, you are able to see some improvements with business integrations. We also encourage new users to leverage the AI Assistant as they become more familiar with the Arena platform. Users can also use Arena AI Assistant to perform document searches. Finally, we are always looking to improve our AI features and encourage customers to submit more specific requests by using the “Contact Support” form in Arena’s Help menu and adding “Feature/Enhancement Request” in the subject line. The system is very easy to use, especially if you have the document numbers of certain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on hand. On most workdays Arena is never down. What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS? The least helpful thing is definitely when Arena is down on Sundays. I usually work on Sundays and it seems like there are always updates to Arena on those days without any prior notification or email about it which hinders my work throughout the day. Two things that Arena helps me throughout my work week is definitely keeping track of my trainings when they are close to being due, my standard operating procedures are always on hand in the Arena system, and live support is always there if I need something urgent. Before using it, tracking changes, managing documentation, and keeping different teams aligned was more time‑consuming and scattered across multiple systems. With Arena, everything is centralized, which reduces errors and makes it much easier to maintain accurate, up‑to‑date product information. This has improved cross‑functional visibility, sped up change reviews, and helped us move through processes with fewer delays.
