It is easy to learn the latter if you have any experience with the former. **What do you dislike about Apache OpenOffice Writer?** Design of the page is important to me, and I often find that OO will display the text with improper kerning and leading. It will show some lines as being slightly too high/low, or letters too close/too far away from each other. Instead, this software manufacturer keeps older versions of the software available to download pretty much at all times, which allows for me to simply use an older version of the software if I do not want to upgrade my computer in its entirety. I use multiple instance for opening the two versions of the text i'm translating so it's easier for me to work. The text formatting is just what i need and there are many other tools that helps me in my work, such as the classic cap corrector, that automatically put the capital after a period. The usual red underlining after a spelling or grammar error (that's REALLY helpful) and, last but not least, the automatic saving after some time. I opted for an open-source system because it is sufficient to meet my needs. For formatting, adding simple graphics at the top of the page, and highlighting a clear hierarchy of titles, this program is suitable. **What do you dislike about Apache OpenOffice Writer?** I don't really like the graphics of the program; before, I had MS Word and the top part of the commands was much clearer and more intuitive.
