"Best Fluid Flow Analysis Software!"
What do you like best about Ansys Fluent?

It's a really nice and mostly used software for fluid flow analysis projects. I used to analyse my project on "Earth Air Heat Exchanger" where it helped me to create environment to approximate physical conditions. It gives great results, and the results also help in experimental analysis. I used fluid flow with heat transfer in this project and performed transient thermal CFD analysis. Overall, it's a great software to perform different fluid-related analyses. Ansys Fluent is great for simulating how fluids like air or water move in different situations. People like it because it's good at handling tricky problems and works for lots of industries. It's easy to use once you get the hang of it, and there's helpful support from Ansys and a community of users. Its multiphase flow simulation capability enables precise modeling of interactions between different fluid phases, which is pivotal in industries such as oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. The turbulence modeling feature is vital for predicting turbulent behavior and indispensable in fields like aerospace for aerodynamics or HVAC system design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ansys Fluent?

There no perticular thing. But it requires heavy system requirements. For simple analysis it works just fine. But when you will go for some complex analysis it hangs a lot if your system doesn't have higher specifications. Learning it can be a bit hard at first. The cost is a downside too, as it can be expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A professional CFD platform"
What do you like best about Ansys Fluent?

I've been using ANSYS fluent frequently in most of my anansysis projects for nearly more than 2 years

The useder interface is so professional and easy to learn althought the process of numerical simulation is so compleslx ,the user interface makes the process easy and sequencial ,it provides all the needed features ( more than needed too for researchers and ameters)

I don't face any problem while installation and implementation ,I used to use the student version although it is limited but was sufficient for students then I had access for a full version

Another important note is the customer support on the website and forum ,you will find answers to problem from professional and also you can post your problem and you will find many to help you

I usually use ANSYS with other software like Solid works , this integration givese the freedom to design ,test and edit mechanical parts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ansys Fluent?

ANSYS fluent usually consumes RAM and sometimes makes me disappointed when it ran into a problem befor saving my project ,i lose my work in these events Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ansys Fluent User Experience"
What do you like best about Ansys Fluent?

I am by profession a product designer who uses various CAD modelling and simulation software to get the freelance work assigned to me by my clients.

On one occasion I got the opportunity to use Ansys Fluent to carry out a CFD simulation work for my client. That was the first time I got to explore the features and capabilities of Ansys Fluent. My mind was blown off once I started to explore the capabilities of the software and it helped me to carry out CFD simulation on a newly designed single-seater vehicle. The vehicle body simulation helped me to extract very important aerodynamic-related performance parameters like Pressure contour, velocity streamline, velocity contour, coefficient of lift, coefficient of drag etc. as a result of flow along the surface of the designed vehicle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ansys Fluent?

The complexity involved in understanding the user interface and using the software for flow analysis as a first-time user was huge. I had to do a lot of research and learning to understand how the software works and how the correct parameters had to be provided as input to conduct the simulation process and extract the expected results.

The large system requirements in terms of performance numbers to run complex simulation works are also quite hectic and time-consuming. This is the only aspect which does not encourage me a lot to use this software to do more complex works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
