Tried using the tool in my graphic design course in college. ### 2. So in that regard, I grateful to AM for forcing me to approach the subject and gaining a great deal of knowledge. **Recommendations to others considering Animation Master:** Do NOT compare this program to industry-standard software packages. Allow yourself to learn to use this program as the tools translate well to industry standard programs. It will aid you in transitioning to more robust programs or....you may also find that this program serves your purposes in animation and modeling just fine......but don’t sleep on it. It’s a solid program!!!! **What problems is Animation Master solving and how is that benefiting you?** I realized that I do like polygonal moldering a lot more but......for the cost, AM is still an amazing program!!!! ### 3. My job is to do from time to time short-medium and edit a few online shows. My work is simplified just by using this software. **What do you dislike about Animation Master?** I don't like the fact that Animation Master runns very slow on my pc. Especially the rendering: if I render a reflection of a glass and I need to send or receive a file in the same time, my pc gets stuck until it stops working. **Recommendations to others considering Animation Master:** If you decide to learn 3D modeling and create animations this software is ideal for you. It is both cheap and easy to use. If your learning curve is slower, I recommend to start with the 2D character rig. After getting used to this skill you can upgrade and try some 3D modeling. **What problems is Animation Master solving and how is that benefiting you?** The project manager is running currently a few test in order to compare the current software with Animation Master. After the test will be done he will decide whether we will use the current software or Animatiom Master depending of the number of solved problems it will have. ### 10. Plus this software is at an affordable price. You can rig characters in 2D! That's becoming more useful now on jobs/projects. You can customize the interface to your liking. You can also do 3D Animation also! I didn't expect this feature, but it is much need for someone new to Animation yet also on a tight budget. **What do you dislike about Animation Master?** The learning curve can be a challenge to newcomers of Animation. There are next to no books to help you with the technical aspect, learning the software. Maybe there are some older editions or something new coming out? Your files are incompatible with other 3D programs files from other products such as Poser. This seriously puts a limit on my use of it. I need to be able to jump from platform to platform because other companies have their go-to programs that they prefer. **Recommendations to others considering Animation Master:** If you need 3D Animation, but are on a tight budget, I recommend this program. You can also rig 2D characters for puppet like Animation! **What problems is Animation Master solving and how is that benefiting you?** At my job we needed a 2D program to rig characters for Animation. My boss is doing tests to see which one we will use. ### 11. Keyframing and copy mirror paste speeds up the process of animation, and onion skinning tool. Can export MDD to other program for rendering if the model is true quad meshes **What do you dislike about Animation Master?** Can't handle large scene without bogging down on the computer. Spline base modeling a challenge for detail modeling of architectural subject, and hair particle looks bad, render not up to professional level for realism. Render is slow compare to others. But they have improve quality of the render for SSS and glass refraction. But still slow to render them. 5 pt mesh don't export well. We have used it for years within our animation company doing full and short length films and tv shows. It's very easy to learn as well. Everything is organized very nicely. **What do you dislike about Animation Master?** I don't like how slow the software can be to load up on the computer sometimes.
