ANCORD Design Co Reviews & Provider Details

ANCORD Design Co is a sustainable industrial design studio in Victoria, BC, founded in 2018 by Alex Nagel. We design action sports equipment, outdoor gear and durable consumer products, and we stay with a product from first research through prototyping, tooling and production. Most of our clients are product companies that need a design partner who understands how things get made, not only how they look. Our work covers design research, focused R&D sprints, full product development, prototyping with in-house 3D printing, photoreal rendering, design for manufacturing reviews, and sustainability and lifecycle reviews. Everything we design is meant to last, be repaired and come apart cleanly at end of life. In 2026 ANCORD was named a finalist for the Circular Champion award at Victoria's Ecostar Awards. Clients include Burton / Anon, Malahat SkyWalk and a range of founder-led outdoor brands.
