## Amplify Reviews
  ### 1. Excellent Always On AI-Assist AppSec Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

Using Amplify is like having an always available AppSec reviewer spotting and flagging security issues in the source code at the time a merge request is submitted by our developers. Unlike other solutions, Amplify learns your developer practices and offers constructive advice that can apply to all related areas of the codebase. This timely information gives our developers an opportunity to identify, learn, and resolve tons of security tech debt before the task completes -- which ensures that our code security incrementally improves upon every new commit. Lastly, Amplify doesn't overwhelm developers with noise; it distills multiple security issues identified to provide actionable advice to developers without adding friction.

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

I wish Amplify covered more coding languages; it's awesome for the subset of languages it currently supports!

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplify helps our team manage and reduce security technical debt in our code bases in an incremental way such that we are able to still deliver results to our customers. It is a great enabler for any size team that may or may not have dedicated Application Security support already.

  ### 2. Small Deployment at a big company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

Setup for a small team was really easy and the dev team bought in really quickly, fastest dev adoption I have ever seen for a security tool

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

Although this worked amazing for a small deployment I am not sure how good a very large scale deployment would have worked, feels really lean, like not enough reporting.

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of security tooling and most of it needs tuning and a lot of work to get the devs to buy in to get any benefits. This seemed to be pretty low effort on my part and actually got the devs to start fixing issues. Very balanced.

  ### 3. Effortless peace of mind!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

Amplify is super easy to use and saves a lot of time in the development life cycle. After initial setup, all I have to do is review possible vulnerabilities. We spend less time on code review and more time shipping features.

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

There's not much I dislike, all bug reports are quickly fixed. But perhaps searching could be more powerful, ie semantic search across all repos.

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security code review. Before, we would have to spend more time reviewing every PR. Specially for new hires. With Amplify, we have an extra set of eyes that focuses on security, that allows us to focus shipping new features.

  ### 4. I might be old school

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

I was really impressed by the remediation quality not that I am a coder but the coders on the team said it was great.

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

As an appsec engineer I like having more control over the process of everything. I might be old school but I like to triage and make the decision what gets sent to the coders and what does not.

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplify is helping me with a problem I have always faced which is that coders don't like fixing issues and my effectiveness is measured by how much they fix.

  ### 5. Kept development moving fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lex A.

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

We're a small team building an enterprise SaaS product. We're not a large enough company yet to hire a dedicated security engineer. Amplify has helped us push that decision off for at least another year.

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

Not too big a deal, but I wish I could login w/ my Google Account.

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We store sensitive customer data, and during the sales process we're often asked what we're doing about keeping our data secure. Potential customers seem to like the story of all of our code being double by an AI system.

  ### 6. Busy CTO and I don't have time for security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

I like that I can turn this on and I don't really need to worry about anything else. I am too busy to be a security expert but my customers care and they want us to do something.

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

Not so much directly related to Amplify but I wish I didn't have to pay for security software at all.

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our customers are requiring us to scan our code for vulns and amplify is making that fairly painless and we still feel lean and fast.

  ### 7. Consultants Dream

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

I get to find vulns in customer environments and I suggest they use Amplify to help fix the issues. Customers always come back to me to find more issues.

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

I want the ability to tell it more what I want to find.

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find vulns and amplify fixes issues really fast. The faster my customers can fix issues the more they want my service so its unlocked a lot more deals for me.

  ### 8. Source code security reviews made simple!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

Easy setup and quick to get going. Provides actionable security warnings for our code and gives us good suggestions on how to fix (and one click fix).

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

Though setup is "easy" it would be nice to not have to modify any files in our github repo to activate/run Amplify

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Let's us do source level security scanning with minimal effort identifying issues before they get pushed out into the world.

  ### 9. Best service for application security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

Identifying vulnerabilities in pull requests and then providing remediations for them that commit with a click

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

Not having features to categorize or ignore the vulnerabilities myself

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By scanning the pull requests and providing remediations to be commited by a click allows users to commit secure code confidently

  ### 10. Test Review

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplify?**

The ease of getting started and quick results

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

lack of coverage maybe, asdasdfasdasdfasdfasdf

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

quick detection of vulns

  ### 11. Amplify blocks issues before they exist!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Amplify prevents us from merging code with issues.

**What do you dislike about Amplify?**

Setup in the pase was difficult, but this seems better now.

**What problems is Amplify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insecure code.
