It is very close to the way anti-speaker speak. I use the program for French and Spanish, and the people who ought to know say they can hear my great accent in my letters. :) It has accurately translated everything I've thrown at it, some of it pretty complicated. It has done so whether I've spoken or typed what I want to translate. You can type, set speech for one person, or speech to translate back and forth. This is science fiction made real. I can't really give you a great comparison to other programs because I've only tried a few. This one worked so well that I didn't bother looking at more apps. I also have iTranslate, though I don't use it. You know how that goes. :) You don't know me, and are reading this to help you make a decision. I take that seriously. Based on my experience with the two languages mentioned, this program has done an excellent job and I recommend it for correspondence and actual verbal use in the real world if everyone speaks clearly. 5 stars for ease of use and reliability. **What do you dislike about Amazon Translate?** The idea behind this app was good, but sometimes the detected words and phrases would not translate.
