The focus for Amazon Sumerian has been promoting Visual Scripting which is quite helpful for people who are not necessarily adept in code or having existing knowledge in creating 3D models using Blender or any other tool similar to it. Being a programmer, I understand the durability of applications which are well structured and coded, it would seem like that in Sumerian we might not have full control on the application on a structural level. This has got to be one of the most user-friendly applications I have seen to date regarding virtual reality and augmented reality. Personally, I am a pretty computer-savvy person, but I am definitely not skilled in certain areas. This helps ease that burden of needing a graphics design and computer modelling degree. I can't think of any features I particularly dislike at the moment, perhaps if I had more knowledge on building virtual reality and augmented reality setups from scratch I would have more of an opinion. I explored at Sumerian when it first came into the market to compete with ARKit(Apple) and ARCore(Google). I liked the ease of making complex AR Assets for Augmented Reality Application. I build 2 small applications using AWS Sumerian and they both were smooth. And I also liked is its ease to build model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Amazon Sumerian? As I wrote not much of a native support. I find difficulty in integrating it with iOS application, whereas ARKit works charm. The only problem with this product is its adaptivity, So I only build small application and not the complex ones. Judging Amazon Sumerian unbiasedly then I would go for native only. I solved my main business problem of making augmented reality application using Amazon Sumerian. I loved the benefits of its overall assets management that can be changed run time also. If you have an AWS account, you can use Amazon Sumerian to work on animation, 3D modeling, and VR/AR projects. This is a great program to start with if you plan to work in design.
