"Effortless One-Click Meetings with Crisp Audio, Noise Suppression, and Transcripts"
5/5
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

Joining meetings on Chime is effortless — I just click the link and I'm in within seconds, without fumbling with PINs or dial-in numbers, which saves me 2–3 minutes at the start of every call. The audio stays crisp even on low-bandwidth connections, and screen sharing launches instantly without lag, so I can walk through documents with my team in real-time without anyone asking "can you see my screen?" repeatedly.

I frequently use the in-meeting chat to drop links and notes while someone is presenting, which keeps our discussions on track without interrupting the speaker. It plugs directly into my Outlook calendar, so I never have to copy meeting details manually.

From a cost perspective, it's bundled with our AWS environment — there was no separate procurement or license approval needed.

Getting my team onboarded took less than a day — everyone just installed and started joining meetings immediately, no training sessions required.

One unexpected benefit: the noise suppression is remarkably good at filtering out background sounds (keyboard typing, fans, construction noise), which I didn't expect from a conferencing tool — it's made working from home with ambient noise much less stressful. The automatic meeting transcripts have also been a quiet game-changer for catching action items I missed during fast-paced discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

The audio/video quality can be inconsistent during large meetings — especially when multiple participants are on VPN or low-bandwidth connections, leading to choppy audio, dropped frames, and lag that disrupts the flow of discussion.

The UI feels dated and cluttered compared to modern collaboration tools. Finding past chat messages, navigating between meeting rooms, and managing notifications require too many clicks. The search functionality within chat history is slow and often fails to surface relevant results.

Integration with other tools is limited — screen sharing sometimes conflicts with multi-monitor setups, and the lack of seamless integration with common productivity tools (e.g., task managers, third-party calendars) means extra manual steps to coordinate work.

Meeting recordings and transcription features are basic — there's no reliable AI-powered summarization or action-item extraction, which means post-meeting follow-up still requires manual note-taking.

Potential improvement: A modernized, streamlined interface with better search, stronger AI-driven meeting insights (auto-summaries, action items), and more robust performance on constrained networks would significantly improve the daily experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Frictionless Meeting Links and Smooth Calendar Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

Honestly, the meeting links are what sold me. Guests aren’t forced to download anything, there’s no “which version are you on?” back-and-forth, you just click and you’re in. For internal calls, our team has completely stopped dreading the whole setup process. The calendar integration also quietly does its job without needing babysitting, which might sound small, but it removes real friction throughout a busy week. What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

The mobile app is the weak spot, it lags behind the desktop experience in a pretty noticeable way. Notifications have also been hit or miss for us, sometimes a message just doesn't ping at all. And compared to Teams or Zoom, the feature set feels a bit thin if you need anything beyond basic calls and chat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy for Basic Meetings, but Feels Limited Next to Zoom and Teams"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

It was easy to join meetings, use chat, share screens, and handle basic team communication without needing much training. For teams already using AWS, it also felt like a natural fit because it connected well with the Amazon ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

it feels limited compared to other meeting tools. It works fine for basic calls, screen sharing, and chat, but it lacks the smoother experience, better interface, and wider adoption that tools like Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Reliable Meetings with Clear Audio/Video and Solid AWS Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

What I like most about Amazon Chime is how simple and reliable it is. Joining a meeting is easy with a single click, and the audio and video quality are consistently clear. I also appreciate the built-in features, such as screen sharing and chat, which make collaboration straightforward. On top of that, its integration with AWS services makes it a strong option for businesses that are already using the AWS ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

What I dislike about Amazon Chime is its limited third-party integrations and the smaller user community compared with other meeting platforms. The interface can also feel a bit basic, and it’s not always easy to find more advanced collaboration features or the support resources I need, which can be more difficult than I expect. "Effective for Team Meetings with Reliable Screen Sharing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

I use Amazon Chime for team meetings online, and it solves my weak network problems without requiring an expensive license. I find its screen sharing feature particularly good for proving that people are honest during online interviews, as it shows that no one can cheat using other apps when they are online. The initial setup was good for my team of around 100 to 200 people, and I rate it highly with a 9 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

I think Amazon Chime's background echo sound could be improved, and there are some connection loss problems during live chatting or live streaming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick, Secure, Reliable Client Meetings with Amazon Chime"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amazon Chime?

Amazon Chime solves the problem of quick, secure, and dependable client communication. It provides a straightforward way to host video meetings, calls, and presentations without requiring extensive setup or technical support. This benefits me by allowing client conversations to stay focused on strategy and results rather than technology issues. The reliability of the platform helps ensure meetings start on time, presentations run smoothly, and follow‑ups happen efficiently, which is especially valuable when managing multiple advertiser relationships and tight sales timelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?

What I dislike about Amazon Chime is that it feels more limited compared to other video conferencing platforms. Some features—like screen sharing controls, in-meeting collaboration tools, and chat functionality—aren’t as intuitive or robust, which can slow down client presentations. Additionally, many external clients are less familiar with Chime, which can create friction when joining meetings and occasionally requires extra guidance. More customization and smoother client-facing usability would improve the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
