What I like most is that you can browse and edit in real time, without having to leave the site offline. With a click I can add HTML objects to the websites and I can see the changes in the moment, that makes it very functional. It allows you to write your essays directly in the browser, that way you can forget about file extension incompatibilities where you lose documents or important information. You can send it and you will always be able to read it. You only need a browser. It also allows you to focus on what is most important, the information. Amaya gives you the possibility to create templates from preview documents so you can use the same structure to create another document. **What do you dislike about Amaya?** The program hasn't been updated since 2012, which is a shame because it's very valuable and has potential. It only has 3 fonts to choose from, which substantially reduces the options. There are few themes to choose from. The undo and redo button goes one step at a time, which makes everything slower. With it you can design xhtml pages and browse the internet. **What do you dislike about Amaya?** Amaya has two things against it, its sorce code packages are no longer available and if running the latest OSx of Mac you have to by pass Gatekeeper through system preferences. **Recommendations to others considering Amaya:** Amaya is not a simple to use application. It is a program that can be modified to suit your needs if you are an advanced computer user and nice to have. But for someone that is looking for a more simplified click/drag application I would not suggest Amaya. The best feature is the combination of browser and authoring tool. **What do you dislike about Amaya?** I dislike that development has stopped since 2012 and effectively rendered it outdated when coding for HTML 5 as it only supports up to HTML 4. It doesn't work very good on newer Windows devices either. It was glitching to a black screen when I would maximize or minimize when I last used it on Windows 7. **Recommendations to others considering Amaya:** Try to find something else to use if you need to edit web pages for a more modern web scape as it is not compatible with HTML 5 or CSS 3 or 4.
